Game play can begin by dealing two cards to at least one player. A first community card is provided face-up. A first group of four community cards are dealt face-up and positioned diagonally from two of the corners of the first community card. A second group of four community cards are dealt face-up and positioned diagonally from the remaining two corners of the first community card. A best five-card poker hand is determined for each player. The best five-card poker hand can include between zero and two cards from the two cards dealt to each player and at least three cards from the first community card and the first group of four community cards and the second group of four community cards.
