  • Publication number: 20240188499
Abstract: A conveyor roller structural assembly for harvesters, such as those intended for harvesting tall and stalky plants, such as sugarcane and sweet sorghum, with this structural assembly being designed and developed to eliminate material losses through the displacement openings of the floating rollers. The conveyor roller structural assembly is formed by a conveyor roller whose bearings are mounted on support bases, and these support bases are anchored on a pivoting bar which is rotatable about its axis, said structural assembly also comprising at least one closing tab which is mounted in an articulated manner with the support base through a connector element, and it is configured to close a displacement opening provided in the side wall of the chassis of the harvester.

  • Publication number: 20240185510
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure describe systems and methods for presenting virtual content on a wearable head device. In some embodiments, a state of a wearable head device is determined by minimizing a total error based on a reduced weight associated with a reprojection error. A view reflecting the determined state of the wearable head device is presented via a display of the wearable head device. In some embodiments, a wearable head device calculates a preintegration term based on the image data received via a sensor of the wearable head device and the inertial data received via a first IMU and a second IMU of the wearable head device. The wearable head device estimates a position of the device based on the preintegration term, and the wearable head device presents the virtual content based on the position of the device.

  • Patent number: 12003378
Abstract: A method for scaling a virtual network function (VNF) by analyzing VNF metrics data, the method that includes obtaining, by a computing device, a VNF metrics data, identifying a queue in the VNF metrics data, calculating a constraint violation probability based on the queue, making a first determination that the constraint violation probability is greater than an upper threshold, and based on the first determination, scaling up the VNF.

  • Publication number: 20240135707
Abstract: To determine the head pose of a user, a head-mounted display system having an imaging device can obtain a current image of a real-world environment, with points corresponding to salient points which will be used to determine the head pose. The salient points are patch-based and include: a first salient point being projected onto the current image from a previous image, and with a second salient point included in the current image being extracted from the current image. Each salient point is subsequently matched with real-world points based on descriptor-based map information indicating locations of salient points in the real-world environment. The orientation of the imaging devices is determined based on the matching and based on the relative positions of the salient points in the view captured in the current image. The orientation may be used to extrapolate the head pose of the wearer of the head-mounted display system.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for providing charging information related to a satellite backhaul over an interface to a charging function are disclosed. For example, a method may include sending a charging data request to a charging function of a core network. The charging data request can include an identifier configured to indicate that a non-terrestrial network backhaul has been used for sending data traffic from a radio access network to a core network. The method may also include receiving a charging data response from the charging function in response to the charging data request.

  • Patent number: 11216980
Abstract: Method and device configured for color similarity evaluation between a first and a second color, comprising the steps of: calculating one or more filters from said first and second colors; determining that the first and second colors are dissimilar if at least one of the calculated filters is above a threshold predetermined for each filter; otherwise, calculating the CIEDE2000 color-difference and determining that the first and second colors are dissimilar if the calculated CIEDE2000 color-difference is above a predetermined threshold; otherwise, determining that they are similar. A module filter may calculate the module of the difference vector between the first and second colors represented as 3D coordinates in the RGB color space, the angle between the two vectors of the first and second colors represented as 3D coordinates in the RGB color space, or the lightness difference between the first and second colors in the CIELAB color space.
