  • Patent number: 12195010
Abstract: An optimal driving profile is generated for vehicles provided with electric propulsion, by providing a sequence of consecutive time intervals until an arrival time and providing a plurality of accelerations that the vehicle can hypothetically take in each of the time intervals; by applying laws of uniformly accelerated motion for each of the accelerations and for each of the time intervals, hypothetical future points along the route are generated, starting from the current position and speed of the vehicle; for each of the time intervals, before analysing the subsequent time interval, it is checked whether the generated points meet all the predefined constraints; if the check has a negative outcome, the point being checked is eliminated from the plausible hypotheses; driving profiles are obtained, each defined by a respective sequence of remaining points; from among said driving profiles, the one requiring a lowest overall energy to be executed is selected.

  • Publication number: 20240350843
Abstract: Fire fighting drone comprising an exoskeleton defining an internal space extending along an axis H and a flexible bag stably housed in the internal space, provided with a release valve and configured to contain a fire fighting liquid; a support structure provided with a plurality of thrusters adapted to perform a thrust that enables the support structure to be supported in flight; the support structure is connected to a first end portion of the exoskeleton; a plurality of movable directional wings carried by the exoskeleton, extending outwards from the exoskeleton itself and angularly movable relative to the exoskeleton around respective axes H transverse to the axis H; an electronic control unit adapted to control the thruster, to generate the release signal and adapted to control the actuators that perform the rotation of the wings; the electronic control unit is configured to control said wings to allow the rotation of the wings during the free-fall phase of said drone which is released from an aircraft an

  • Patent number: 8880244
Abstract: A method for evaluating the structural compatibility of an aircraft for use on a runway having a profile with one or more roughnesses in the form of bumps and/or dips using a computer-based system, and including the steps of: generating a first bump height curve representing elevations or depressions on the runway; comparing the bump height curve with a second bump height curve which is a first reference curve; generating a first power spectral density curve of the profile of the runway; comparing the first power spectral density curve with a second power spectral density curve which is a second reference curve; and authorizing or denying the aircraft the use of the runway on the basis of results of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 5154046
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the coupling of articulated track links with a determined tolerance by means of press fitting. In particular, said method is applied in the assembly of articulated link track chains for tracker vehicles where joint links (5) are pressed on to the two ends of a central pivot (2), on which at least one second element, or bushing (3) is rotably coupled, which bushing (3) is axially held by the two said joint links (5). According to the invention, all the elements, including spacers (4), are compressed into a "pack" configuration by the action of a maximum compression force, determined individually for each case with regard to the geometric characteristics of the various elements and the properties of the materials of which they are constituted, on the basis of the determination, effected during the course of the realisation of the press-fitting, of the total force necessary to overcome the opposition offered to relative axial sliding before reaching the "pack" configuration.
