  • Publication number: 20210114763
Abstract: A cardboard container has an integral lid and is obtained from a cardboard sheet duly die-cut in a single piece in which a central sector or bottom is defined, from whose edges two respective isoscelic inverted trapezoidal sectors emerge that determine the larger and smaller side walls of the container. Two of these walls are provided in correspondence to their lateral edges with tabs for gluing together the adjoining walls. From one of the side walls there emerges a sector that acts as a lid, with a configuration in accordance with the configuration of the bottom but with proportionally larger dimensions, which ends in opposition to its fold line in a tab for closing and stabilizing the lid.

  • Patent number: 5431458
Abstract: A coupling for no-hub pipe segments has a shield covering an elastomeric gasket. The shield has a plurality on corrugations oriented transverse to the pipe axis and arranged in discrete areas. These corrugations are separated by corrugations oriented parallel to the pipe axis arranged in discrete areas. Clamping bands securely clamp the shield and gasket to the pipe segments. The pattern of corrugations permits the shield to assume a shouldered shape when the clamping bands are tightened and the coupling is installed on pipes of slightly varying diameter. The gasket is provided with a pattern of thick sealing sectors and adjacent groove sectors laterally spaced relative to thick sealing sectors. This pattern permits the clamping bands and shield to form a restriction impeding the movement of the shield relative to the gasket when the clamping bands are tightened.

  • Patent number: 4146960
Abstract: A powered hair trimmer is described which is provided with a hair thinning comb. The comb guides strands of hair toward cutter teeth of the trimmer for shearing and inhibits the introduction between the cutter teeth of some of the guided strands.

  • Patent number: 4138809
Abstract: An improved hand-held electric powered hair trimming appliance is described comprising a comb and a cutter. The appliance is adapted to be advanced along a bed of hair in the same type of combing motion as is used to style the hair and the cutter is transported simultaneously with the comb. The comb is adapted to apply a force to strands of hair being combed causing distal segments thereof to deflect away from the bed of hair. The cutter is positioned in the path of the deflected segments of hair for shearing thereof by the cutter. Predetermined spacing of the cutter with respect to the comb provides for the majority of the sheared distal segments having a predetermined length.

  • Patent number: 4131995
Abstract: A hair trimming appliance having cutter teeth movable in a reciprocating path is provided with a demountable smoothing comb. The smoothing comb enables trimming of straggling hair strands and cowlicks of a combed hair styling while limiting shearing of hair strands having a predetermined length. The smoothing comb provides for limiting extension of the latter hair strands into the path of the cutter teeth of the hair trimming appliance.

  • Patent number: 4125940
Abstract: A hand-held electrically energized hair trimming appliance is disclosed which is adapted to alternatively utilize a demountable clipper assembly or a demountable trimmer assembly. The demountable trimmer assembly includes an extending segment for supporting a trimmer cutter assembly at a location displaced from a housing of the appliance for enhancing user visibility when trimming mustaches, hair around earlobes, and the like.
