  • Patent number: 7654410
Abstract: A vehicle reservoir tank has an anti-spill chamber and an overflow channel. The anti-spill chamber has a body portion, an inlet at one end of the body portion and an outlet at another end of body portion. The anti-spill chamber is configured and arranged to restrict fluid flowing from a main reservoir chamber. The overflow channel has a first end portion, a second end portion and an intermediate curved portion. The first end portion is fluidly coupled to the outlet of the anti-spill chamber. The intermediate curved portion extends from the first end portion to the second end portion such that the second end portion of the overflow channel extends downwardly relative to the first end portion. The second end portion extends along an area of the body portion of the anti-spill chamber to restrict the flow from the anti-spill chamber.

  • Patent number: 7430874
Abstract: A vehicle air conditioning system is disclosed that includes a compressor, a condenser, a front evaporator and a rear evaporator. The condenser is operably coupled to the compressor. The front evaporator is operably coupled to the condenser and the rear evaporator is operably coupled to the condenser. A high pressure tube operably couples the condenser to the rear evaporator and a low pressure tube operably couples the rear evaporator to the compressor. At least a portion of the high pressure tube and at least a portion of the low pressure tube are formed as a dual conduit section having side-by-side relationship for heat exchange therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20070128997
Abstract: A vehicle air duct structure comprises a substantially tubular air duct body and an inner guide wall. The air duct body extends from an inlet end to an outlet end with a curved portion disposed therebetween to convey an air flow from the inlet end to the outlet end. The inner guide wall is integrally formed with the air duct body as a one-piece, unitary member. The inner guide wall is configured and arranged to separate the air flow into a plurality of branch flows in the curved portion. The air duct body further includes a generally linear portion disposed adjacent to an upstream end section of the curved portion. The inner guide wall continuously extends along a direction of the air flow in the curved portion and at least a part of the generally linear portion of the air duct body.

  • Patent number: 5174738
Abstract: The outer surface of a slider block increases radially with increasing distance from the crankshaft for at least a portion of its height. As a result when the drive pin of the crankshaft deflects under load the slider block moves therewith as a unit. The surface of the slider block maintains an essentially uniform oil film thickness over an extended area due to its shape.
