Abstract: Color cathode ray tube comprising a glass front face on which a screen of luminescent materials is deposited as well as a frame/color selection mask assembly, the mask being maintained by welding on the frame, the frame/mask assembly being suspended within the tube by means of support means, at least one of the support means integrates a metal part forming a spring and comprising an aperture at one of its extremities into which fits a metal pin inserted in the glass front face of the tube, and at its other extremity an aperture to enable it to be attached to the frame either by a rivet or by a screw/nut assembly. This type of attachment provides an additional degree of liberty in positioning the aperture of the spring designed to cooperate with the pin of the front face.
