  • Publication number: 20230390758
Abstract: A pipetting device (1) for receiving and dispensing fluid volumes, comprising a housing (2) with a holding portion (3), which is constructed for holding the pipetting device (1) by means of an operator's hand, a support device (4), which is designed for supporting the pipetting device (1) on an operator's finger, the support device (4) being rotatable relative to the holding portion (3), preferably about a longitudinal axis (L) of the pipetting device (1). The invention further relates to a pipetting device (1) for receiving and dispensing fluid volumes, comprising a releasable positive connection between a first and a second component of the pipetting device (1). Because the support device is adjustable relative to the holding device into a plurality of different defined rotational positions the pipetting device can be used by either left-handed and right-handed operators or by operators with hands of different sizes.

  • Patent number: 11566216
Abstract: A cell culture insert with a hollow cylindrical housing having an upper end-face opening delimited by an opening edge and a lower end-face base designed as a membrane, support feet being arranged on the base edge of the housing and/or on the base and at least one support arm. The legs protrude downward for supporting the housing on a support in a non-tipping manner with a small uniform spacing between the base and the support. The at least one support arm protrudes outwards at the opening edge and can be placed on an edge of a well plate in which a plurality of wells. The support arm is an edge hanging element, and for this purpose, has a support section that runs radially relative to the housing and a hanging section that runs from the support section downwards in the direction of the base of the housing.

  • Patent number: 7524461
Abstract: A motorized pipette is described for pipetting and titration of especially small amounts with an especially slow rate. An interruptable dispensing cycle allows extremely accurate titration and pipetting in which a take-up cycle is continued with an additional volume of a limited amount. Additionally, a certain minimum dispensing rate, which is preferably preset at the factory, for certain operating modes can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20010036426
Abstract: The objective of the invention is an arrangement for the contamination-free processing of molecular-biological reaction sequences, consisting of several reaction vessels (2), open at the top, arranged next to one another and connected to one another, an individual closure element (3) per reaction vessel (2) with a closure section (4) to provide a tight seal of the aperture of the reaction vessel (2) and an actuation section (5) for engaging at the individual closure element (3) and a closure carrier (6) covering all the reaction vessels (2) or groups of reaction vessels (2), each with a socket (7) for the actuation section (5) of each individual closure element (3) for securing the individual closure element (3) to the closure carrier (6), whereby the individual closure elements (3) secured to the closure carrier (6) are capable of being placed with sealing effect together with the closure carrier (6) onto the reaction vessels (2), and can be withdrawn therefrom.
