  • Patent number: 10323923
Abstract: A telemetry system with a matrixed telemetry switch unit array and a method for determining the switch position of a telemetry switch unit. The switch units include steering diodes and parallel signal paths each with unique resistance values. The signal paths correspond to switch positions and are closed when the switch unit is in the corresponding switch position. A signal source is electrically connected to an input current path and output current path of the array with a corresponding telemetry switch unit coupled into the signal path. A plurality of sensing signals are applied through the array and the resultant signals are measured. The switch position is determined from the resultant signals indicating the resistance value of the switch signal path currently coupled into the array signal path while accounting for the voltage drop of the steering diodes.

  • Publication number: 20070246276
Abstract: Electric installation specially created for being built into an agricultural tractor for the purpose of providing an electric power source that may be used by any tool associated thereto to perform a specific task. The invented circuit extends from an alternator that takes energy from the tractor and feeds an external electric circuit including at least one output plug or connector. The alternator may take energy from the tractor's engine through a drive pulley, or from the tractor's power take-up. The invention envisages the use of two alternators, one for the tractor installation and another for the external output circuit, both with built-in voltage regulator, wherein the external output circuit includes electronic converters (capable of generating different output voltages) placed before the external contactors and plugs.

  • Patent number: 6861891
Abstract: A sub-harmonic mixer comprises two field effect transistors in which the sources of the transistors are connected together and the drains of the transistors are connected together. The mixer includes signal generating means for generating a local oscillator (LO) signal coupled to the gate of one of the FETs. Circuit means is provided for maintaining the potential of the gate of the other FET at a substantially constant value relative to the local oscillator signal applied to the gate of the driven FET, and the FET's are arranged to permit the local oscillator signal applied to gate of the driven FET to drive a voltage across the gate-source of both FET's. An input and output port is coupled to the drains for receiving input signals for the mixer and outputting output signals from the mixer.

  • Patent number: 6265953
Abstract: A fully monolithic cross-point switch matrix overcomes the isolation problems between unconnected ports of the prior art. An Isolation Enhancement Network (IEN) is connected between each of the input and output transmission lines at each of the cross-points. The switch matrix is comprised of a tiled interconnection of M×N of the 1×1 switch/IEN (SIEN) cells, where N and M are the number of input and output ports respectively. Each of the SIEN cells can be independently configured into one of two operating modes, connected or unconnected. The switching element is configured to provide a high isolation path between the input and output lines in the unconnected mode of operation. In this case, a small fraction of the input signal injected at the input port appears at the output port. This output signal is comprised of two components.
