    Abstract: Wind turbine control may be provided. First, a control parameter indicative of foreseeable fluctuations in a rotational speed of a rotor due to wind turbulence may be obtained. The first control parameter may be calculated based on a first signal indicative of a wind power and a second signal indicative of wind turbulence intensity. Then, the control parameter may be compared with a threshold value. Next, a maximum power to be generated by the wind turbine may be reduced if the control parameter exceeds said threshold.
