Abstract: Therapeutic combinations of hepatitis B virus (HBV) vaccines and quinazoline derivatives are described. Methods of inducing an immune response against HBV or treating an HBV-induced disease, particularly in individuals having chronic HBV infection, using the disclosed therapeutic combinations are also described. The invention provides therapeutic combinations or compositions and methods for inducing an immune response against hepatitis B viruses (HBV) infection.

Abstract: A burglarproof license plate fastener has a bracket, a burglarproof bolt, a cover and an RFID chip. The bracket has a bracket recess and an elongated mounting hole formed through the bracket recess. The burglarproof bolt is slidably mounted through the mounting hole. The cover is securely connected with the bracket and closes an opening of the bracket recess. The RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip is securely mounted in the bracket recess.

Abstract: The anti-theft fastener has a shearing head, a shaft and a fastening element. The shearing head has at least one shearing tab. The shaft is threaded and connected the shearing head. The fastening element is mounted around the shearing head and has an outer surface having a countersink and at least one shearing recess. The countersink is formed in the outer surface around the connecting hole. The at least one shearing recess is formed in countersink, and corresponds to the at least one shearing tab, and each shearing recess has at least one shearing surface, whereby the at least one shearing tab is broken off by the shearing surface of the fastening element.

Abstract: In accordance with this invention, a molecular probe for detection of a nucleic acid target containing a preselected target sequence is constructed and has at least two sources of a signal: a conventional reporter source and a reference source in a form of a luminescent material, e.g., a fluorophore, quantum dot, fluorescent nanoparticle, or other fluorescent reference dye/nanoparticle/microparticle conjugated to the molecular probe.

Abstract: A container that can dispense a small amount of the contents has a body (10), a dispenser (20), a tube (30) and a cover (40). A baffle (24) is integrally formed in the dispenser (20) to close the opening between two ends of the dispenser (20). A tubular protrusion (25) integrally protrudes from the baffle (24) to form a passage between the two ends of dispenser (20). The tube (30) is adjustably inserted into the tubular protrusion (25) to define a first passage between the tube (25) and the cover (40). The cover (40) has an outlet (43) defined in the cover (40). A wall (42) extends downward from the cover (40) to define a U-shaped second passage between the first passage with the outlet (43). Consequently, a small amount of the contents can be poured out of the container, and the dispensed quantity of the contents is adjustable.

Abstract: A container has a hollow body, a first passage, a U-shaped second passage and an outlet. The first passage is defined in the top of the body. The second passage is also defined in the top of the body and communicates with the first passage through a third passage. The outlet is defined in the top of the body and communicates with the second passage. With such a container, a small amount of the contents can be dispensed from the container through the passages when the user turns the container upside down repeatedly. In addition, the container with the passages can be formed by a blowing process with a desired mold. It is easy to manufacture and form the container. The cost of manufacturing the container with a dispensing effect is decreased.

Abstract: An antitheft device includes a base member having an open top and a hole defined through the bottom thereof, a plurality of slots defined in the peripheral wall extending from the bottom and an annular flange extending radially and outwardly from the peripheral wall. A cap has an annular groove is defined in the inner periphery of the peripheral wall extending from the top so that the head portion of a bolt or a nut is received between the cap and the base member with the annular flange being engaged with the annular groove.

Abstract: A positioning device includes a base disk including a first side, a second side, and an outer periphery formed with an outer thread, two juxtaposed lugs each formed on the first side of the base disk and each including a flat abutting edge in line with each other, a channel defined between the two lugs, a compression ring fixedly mounted on the base disk and including an inner periphery formed with an inner thread threadedly engaged on the outer thread, and a decorative plate fitted on the compression ring.

Abstract: A securing assembly includes a cap having a top with a skirt portion extending laterally from a periphery defining the top, a plurality of passages defined longitudinally in the skirt portion and being accessed from an end edge of the skirt portion, a washer member having a hole and a plurality of engaging members extending laterally from a periphery defining the washer member, and a bolt having a shank thereof extending through the hole with a head thereof being received in the cap. The engaging members are securely received in the corresponding passages. The assembly further includes a second cap with a nut received therein and a second washer member for engagement with the second cap so that the bolt extends through the two washer members and threadedly engages with the nut, wherein the second cap has an aperture defined therethrough so that the shank can extend through the aperture.

Abstract: A hanger assembly includes a mounting member having an engaging disk with a first outer thread formed on an outer periphery thereof. A supporting lug with a dimension smaller than that of the engaging disk protrudes from the engaging disk and has two cavities each laterally defined therein. A second outer thread is formed on an underside of the supporting lug and in alignment with the first outer thread. A suspending member is mounted on the underside of the suspending lug and includes two snapping portions each received in one of the two cavities. A cap is mounted around the mounting member and has an abutting edge abutting on the suspending member. An inner thread is formed on an inner periphery of the cap and is threadedly engaged with the first outer thread and the second outer thread.
