  • Publication number: 20240344856
Abstract: A flowmeter for liquid/gas cryogenic two-phase fluids, comprising an inlet pipe having a calibrated orifice, a vertical reservoir surrounded by an apparatus and having a wall with a plurality of slots for outflow of the two-phase fluid, thereby forming a spillway system. At least one pressure sensor configured to measure the pressure difference between the bottom of the vertical reservoir and an atmosphere surrounding the vertical reservoir, the pressure difference between two points in the space surrounding the vertical reservoir within the interior space, thereby deducing the height of liquid downstream of the vertical reservoir, thereby determining the state of the two-phase fluid and determining a level of liquid flooding downstream of the vertical reservoir, and a third pressure difference between upstream and downstream of the calibrated orifice. A data acquisition and processing system, configured to determine the state of the incoming two-phase fluid and determining a flow rate.

  • Patent number: 10744856
Abstract: Exchanger having a tube and fin bundle and comprising: a duct (4) through which a cryogenic fluid can flow between a fluid inlet (1) into the exchanger and a fluid outlet (2) from the exchanger; and a system of flat, continuous and parallel fins (3) through which said duct passes inside the exchanger, it being possible for air (12) to circulate within the exchanger by passing through channels delimited by the space between the duct and the parallel fins. The exchanger is characterized in that it comprises at least two independent ducts (10a, 10b) for the circulation of cryogenic fluid within the exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20190241348
Abstract: An isothermal container for preserving and/or transporting perishable or heat-sensitive products, includes a cryogenic compartment for a mass of a cryogenic fluid, a product storage compartment for the products to be preserved or transported, at least one Seebeck module, and at least one fan positioned within the product compartment to create forced convention therein that is electrically powered by the Seebeck module, which generates a voltage from the difference in temperature between the mass of cryogen and the ambient air temperature of the product compartment.

  • Patent number: 10113786
Abstract: A method for managing the operation of a refrigerated truck for transporting heat-sensitive products, of the indirect-injection type, in which the parameter ?T=Tair inlet?Tsetpoint(Tair inlet: temperature of the air coming into contact with the heat exchanger internal to the truck as a result of the action of the fan, Tsetpoint: temperature to be set in the chamber inside the truck) is determined in real time and in which if ?T is greater than an upper setpoint value ?Tsetpoint H, a rapid-pressurization (RMP) circuit is activated to vaporize some cryogen and thus increase the pressure in the head of gas above the reserve of cryogen of the truck.

  • Patent number: 9797645
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transporting heat-sensitive products in a refrigerated lorry of the indirect injection type, wherein the temperature Tint inside the storage chamber is regulated by varying the pinch of the exchanger (Pinch=Tint?TFluid outflow) according to the position of the internal temperature Tint in relation to a temperature set value.
