  • Patent number: 9762387
Abstract: A method for establishing an encrypted communication channel is described. Query IDs are generated at a first device. Each query ID identifies a keyword in a set of keywords. Query IDs are received, at a second device. A second set of keywords is determined by the second device based on the query IDs. Match IDs are determined based on the second set. Each match ID identifies a keyword in the second set. An encryption key is generated based on the second set. A response is sent which includes the match IDs and an encrypted message. At the first device, the second set is determined based on the match IDs. The second set includes keywords of the first set of keywords identified by the match IDs. The encryption key is generated at the first device and the encrypted message is decrypted. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described.

  • Patent number: 6164416
Abstract: To decelerate an elevator to a floor, the position of the elevator is determined and this data is used to calculate a required deceleration value with which the speed and deceleration of the elevator are reduced to zero upon reaching the floor and the deceleration changes by the amount of a constant jerk during the final round-off. A deceleration reference value is repeatedly compared with the required deceleration value determined on the basis of the position data, and the deceleration reference value is changed towards the required deceleration value based on the position data. During deceleration, the system is monitored to establish the point of time when the conditions for starting the final round-off are valid, and the final round-off is started accordingly. After the starting point of the final round-off, a speed reference value is determined using a jerk that fulfills the carting conditions.

  • Patent number: 5889240
Abstract: Push button arrangement for an elevator including a push button (7) with a mounting element (1), a mounting base (10), a cover plate (17) and a circuit card (3). The push button (7) is attached to the mounting element (1) using double-sided tape. The push button (7) is provided with an opening (8) for a call acknowledgement light. The mounting element (1) is fitted by its legs (2) in holes (19) provided in the circuit card (3). The circuit card (3) is provided with membrane switches (4) and attached to the mounting base (10) by gluing so that its lugs engage holes (11) in the mounting base (10). The cover plate (17) covers the push button panel.
