  • Patent number: 10228271
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for suppressing rerouting in a navigational system which includes a processor monitoring movements of a vehicle relative to a planned route generated by a navigational system, where the planned route includes a trip from a point of origin to a destination and the navigational system includes program(s) providing navigational assistance to a driver during the trip. The processor detects a first movement of the vehicle which is a deviation from the planned route. The processor determines that the deviation is based on an intentional circumstance. The processor suppresses execution of rerouting functionality of the navigational system and pauses the program(s) providing navigational assistance. The processor detects a second movement of the vehicle that includes a resumption of the planned route and resumes the program(s) providing navigational assistance.

  • Publication number: 20180293621
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an optimization of redeemable offers for a user based on the user's available calendar days. The user selects a target venue via an application on a mobile device and the application retrieves redeemable offers associated with the selected venue including general redeemable offers and redeemable offers that are specific or unique to the user. The application determines a list of calendar days during which the user is available to use redeemable offers and at least one of the redeemable offers is active. An optimized combination of redeemable offers for each calendar day in the list may be presented the user based on the active redeemable offers and user availability. The list of calendar days may also be added to the user's calendar and a single bar code may be generated for applying the redeemable offers.

A user selects a portion of the streaming content such as by tapping or circling a person, place or thing in a video, using the input device, and the selection criteria are used to look up pre-tagged content or to submit to image or audio recognition services. The resulting identification is shown to the user on an output device, and may be instantly shared with collaborators on the same streaming content.
