Patent number: 10825105Abstract: Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. The program generates a set of documents. The program further loads data associated with each data object in a set of data objects in a document in the set of documents. The program also receives a record from a first user. The record includes a set of items. For each item in the set of items, the program further determines one or more data objects in the set of data objects based on a hierarchy of users by performing a search on the set of documents and associating the item with the one or more data objects in the set of data objects. The program also provides to a second user information for a subset of the set of data objects associated with the second user.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2017Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Jeffrey Bigwood, Ronald Van Der Linden, Anuradha Venkataraman, David Shiell

Publication number: 20190007270Abstract: Examples relate to deploying QoS policies in interfaces of network devices of a network. A full traffic matrix of a network is obtained by monitoring network traffic in a set of interfaces of a set of network devices of the network, wherein network traffic is generated by application. A required bandwidth for each application in each interface in the network is determined based on a priority assigned to the applications. A set of interfaces among all the interfaces of the network are identified for deploying a QoS policy. The QoS policy to be deployed in each interface is determined based on an IT policy of the network. Lastly, the determined QoS policies are deployed into the set of interfaces of the network.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2018Publication date: January 3, 2019Inventors: Shiva Prakash Suragi Math, Anuradha Venkataraman, Venkatesh Raman Ramteke

Patent number: 9143408Abstract: An inter-provider virtual provider network path is identified by identifying a provider network provider edge router having a provider edge interface serving, obtaining routing information from the provider edge router, identifying, from the routing information, a remote customer edge interface of a customer edge router connected to the provider edge router by an intermediate service provider, and identifying the path and associated links between the identified provider edge interface and the identified remote customer edge interface.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2012Date of Patent: September 22, 2015Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Kotilingareddy Bhavanam, Swamy Jagannadha Mandavilli, Venkatesh Mahalingam, Muthukumar Suriyanarayanan, Anuradha Venkataraman

Patent number: 8929225Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable and executable instructions are provided for customer edge device problem identification. Customer edge device problem identification can include obtaining a status of a connection between a provider edge (PE) device and a customer edge (CE) device. Customer edge device problem identification can also include determining whether the status of the connection is non-normal. Customer edge device problem identification can include sending an internet control message protocol (ICMP) echo request to the CE device in response to the status of the connection being non-normal. Customer edge device problem identification can include receiving an ICMP echo response from the CE device. Customer edge device problem identification can also include identifying a simple network management protocol (SNMP) problem that is associated with the CE device based upon the receipt of the ICMP echo response.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2012Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Swamy Jagannadha Mandavilli, Anuradha Venkataraman, Kotilingareddy Bhavanam, Muthukumar Suriyanarayanan, Venkatesh Mahalingam

Patent number: 8144624Abstract: Presented is a method and system for determining network topology of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) in a Wide Area Network (WAN). The method includes obtaining a list of CE (customer edge) routers in a network, obtaining a list of prefixes advertised by each CE router, iterating, for each prefix, the list of prefixes advertised by all CE routers, verifying, in case a potential hub CE router already exists, whether the second CE router and the potential hub CE router are same, marking, in case a potential hub CE router does not exist, the second CE router as the potential hub CE router, and marking, if there exists a potential hub CE router that advertises every other prefix in the network, the potential hub CE router as hub site and other CE routers as spoke sites.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2009Date of Patent: March 27, 2012Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Srikanth Natarajan, Swamy Jagannadha Mandavilli, Lawrence M.
