REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC BASED WELDED JOINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMOSET COMPOSITE PIPE JOINTS
Publication number: 20260063232Abstract: A system and method for coupling pipes including a first pipe having a tapered, spigot end bonded to a first glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material and a second pipe having a tapered, socket end bonded to a second glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material. The first and second pipe are made from a reinforced thermosetting resin (RTR) material. The first pipe is internally received by the second pipe, thereby forming a sealing area. Upon application of a thermal joining process to the first and second glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material, an amount of heat of the thermal joining process is sufficient to melt the first glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material and the second glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material such that, when the heat is removed, a hardened thermoplastic material seals the first pipe to the second pipe.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 5, 2024Publication date: March 5, 2026Applicants: SAUDI ARABIAN OIL COMPANY, TWI Ltd.Inventors: Thibault Villette, Abderrazak Traidia, Abdulaziz Asiri, Anwar Parvez, Chris Worrall, Nicholas Iain Verge -

Publication number: 20160212142Abstract: Embodiments are provided for grouping documents into purpose-specific packages according to package settings, such as provided in a set of purpose-specific templates. In some embodiments, the purpose-specific packages and templates can be business specific. One or more data files are selected to be included in a purpose-specific package, which are uploaded and transferred to a processing queue. The processing queue generates the purpose-specific package by applying the package settings to the contents (e.g., the selected one or more data files) of the purpose-specific package.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2016Publication date: July 21, 2016Inventor: Anwar Parvez
