    Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for processing multimedia resources. In one embodiment, a method comprises: obtaining a time distribution of one or more icons entered by one or more users with respect to multimedia resources; determining a specific period of the multimedia resources based on the time distribution; and in response to a request for the specific period from a user, executing an operation corresponding to the request on the multimedia resources corresponding to the specific period. Since icons can reflect viewing reactions of the user, the specific period obtained by the disclosed embodiments can be used to effectively segment multimedia resources based on a user reaction, facilitating rapid obtaining of a segment of interest by the user and improving the viewing experience of the user and efficiency of the device processing the multimedia resources.
