  • Publication number: 20240077453
Abstract: A sensor for a flexible sensor assembly includes a drive coil, a first set of sensing coils, a second set of sensing coils, and a configuration for sensing for discontinuities in a structure desired to be sensed. A method of operating the sensor can include positioning the sensor proximate to the structure, energizing the drive coil, and sensing eddy currents with the sensing coils.

  • Patent number: 11887613
Abstract: A computer extracts a vocal portion from a first audio content item and determines a first representative vector that corresponds to a vocal style of the first audio content item by applying a variational autoencoder (VAE) to the extracted vocal portion of the representation of the audio content item. The computer streams, to an electronic device, a second audio content item, selected from a plurality of audio content items, that has a second representative vector that corresponds to a vocal style of the second audio content item, wherein the second representative vector that corresponds the vocal style of the second audio content item meets similarity criteria with respect to the first representative vector that corresponds to the vocal style of the first audio content item.

  • Publication number: 20230359513
Abstract: An application programming interface (API) orchestration system and method are disclosed to provide communication between clients and providers, all communicating in different formats and protocols and having different security requirements. It employs an orchestration module that has a data model creator which aggregates data fragments of the clients into a standard canonical data model. It also includes universal API gateways to connect to a plurality of adapters, each designed to be compatible with a specific provider. Each adapter includes a mapper that converts input data formats to that of a specific provider. A parameter device that for each workflow step appends parameters to messages between the client and the provider, and a protocol device, to reproduce the communication protocol of its associated provider. Each adapter has a universal API gateway that is compatible with that of the orchestration module, allowing other adapters to be added as plugin modules.

  • Patent number: 11315585
Abstract: A computer receives a first audio content item and applies a process to generate a representation of first audio content item. A portion is extracted from the representation of the first audio content item. A first representative vector that corresponds to the first audio content item is determined by applying a variational autoencoder (VAE) to a first segment of the extracted portion the audio content item. The computer stores the first representative vector that corresponds to the first audio content item.

  • Publication number: 20220083583
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for associating a media content clip(s) with other media content clip(s) having a different modality by determining first embedding vectors of media content items of a first modality, receiving a media content clip of a second modality, determining a second embedding vector of the media content clip of the second modality, ranking the first embedding vectors based on a distance between the embedding vectors and the second embedding vector, and selecting one or more of the media content items of the first modality based on the ranking, thereby pairing media content clips based on emotion.

  • Patent number: 9092850
Abstract: A method performed by one or more processing devices includes retrieving data for a protein in a tissue type in a first state and for the protein in the tissue type in a second state; determining, based on the retrieved data, first features of the protein in the tissue type in the first state; determining, based on the retrieved, second features of the protein in the tissue type in the second state; and identifying, based on the first features and the second features, that a location of the protein in the tissue type in the first state differs from a location of the protein in the tissue type in the second state.

  • Publication number: 20150185855
Abstract: The present application relates to a method for continuously moving displayed information on an electronic display device according to the physical movement of a user so as to maintain the focus of the user's eyes on the content, and display apparatus thereof. By way of an example, this application will enable reading from an electronic display apparatus while the user and/or the display apparatus is in a dynamic environment, such as, while in a moving vehicle like car, train or bus and/or while working out in a cardiovascular machine like treadmills, elliptical machines, stairmasters, stepmills or stationary bikes. The method described herein includes continuously detecting the physical movement of the user using either (i) motion sensors attached to the person, or (ii) a camera to continuously capture the image of the user's face and/or the image of an identifiable object attached to the user.
