  • Patent number: 11972302
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for processing computing resource access requests from users of an application service. An example method generally includes measuring computing resource access metrics over a time window for a user of a computing system. The measured computing access metrics for the user of the computing system are determined to exceed a threshold. Based on determining that the measured computing access metrics for the user of the computing system exceeds the threshold, computing resource access requests from the user of the computing system are migrated from a first queue to a second queue, wherein the first queue comprises a rate-unlimited queue and the second queue comprises a rate-controlled queue having a defined rate for processing received requests. Computing resource access requests from the user of the computing system are processed based on the defined rate for processing received requests.

  • Patent number: 11356273
Abstract: A workflow orchestration system obtains a plurality of documents for execution of a workflow on a plurality of different sub-systems. A document from the plurality of documents indicates an action to be executed by a corresponding sub-system and comprises an authorization for execution of the action by the corresponding sub-system. The authorization specified in the document can be verified by the corresponding sub-system. Based on the obtained plurality of documents, the workflow orchestration system determines whether these documents provide sufficient authorizations for execution of the workflow. If so, the workflow orchestration system executes the workflow by transmitting the documents to the corresponding sub-systems for execution of the actions specified therein.

  • Patent number: 11090394
Abstract: A lipid-, polymer-, and metal-based system of modified nanostructures of active biomedical and pharmaceutical agents used for in vivo (whole body/organ or tissue-specific) imaging. The modified nanostructure system involves various combinations of excipients (lipids, oils, surfactant, polymers, metals, carbon, nanotubes, etc.) in a formulation that allows a user to: (1) sustain the bioluminescent, fluorescent, or contrast signal for a longer period than conventional systems without repetitive administration (e.g., nanostructure system of luciferin), (2) target specific sites of interest (e.g., organ, tissue, receptors, proteins, etc.) for enhanced imaging of the targeted site (e.g. nanostructure system of XenoLight DIR with CREKA allows imaging of tumor vasculature), and (3) increase bioluminescent, fluorescent, or contrast signal flux.

  • Patent number: 11055221
Abstract: According to one general aspect, an apparatus may include a processor configured to issue a first request for a piece of data from a cache memory and a second request for the piece of data from a system memory. The apparatus may include the cache memory configured to temporarily store a subset of data. The apparatus may include a memory interconnect. The a memory interconnect may be configured to receive the second request for the piece of data from the system memory. The a memory interconnect may be configured to determine if the piece of memory is stored in the cache memory. The a memory interconnect may be configured to, if the piece of memory is determined to be stored in the cache memory, cancel the second request for the piece of data from the system memory.

  • Patent number: 10445700
Abstract: A data processing system executes a board object to drive a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to receive user inputs for the monitored system, and in response, associates the board object with a card object, category object, and user object for the monitored system. The data processing system executes the board object, card object, category object, and user object to drive a Data Distribution System (DDS) to distribute board metadata, card metadata, category metadata, and user metadata among the board object, card object, category object, and user object. The data processing system executes the card object data to determine operational status data based on the board metadata, card metadata, category metadata, and user metadata. The data processing system executes the card object to drive the DDS to distribute operational status data among the board object, category object, and user object and to drive the GUI to illustrate operational status data.

  • Patent number: 10346307
Abstract: A method includes: receiving a coherent request from a requester; looking up a state array of a snoop filter table corresponding to an index identified by the coherent request; determining state information corresponding to the coherent request; and determining to access one or more address tag arrays of the snoop filter table based on one or more of the state information, the requester, and a type of the coherent request.

  • Patent number: 9968557
Abstract: A dual channel spray gun, and method of use thereof, for fabricating nanostructures including a pharmaceutical/therapeutic agent having enhanced oral bioavailability. The nanostructures are a mixture of at least two (2) solutions/media substantially equally distributed as desired. The spray gun device uses gas pressure and/or two ultrasonicators to simultaneously prepare two solution systems for subsequent mixture and atomization. The gas pressure and frequencies of the ultrasonicators are adjustable for each channel of the spray gun. In operation, the spray gun is used to prepare microstructures that, for example, contain at least one active pharmaceutical agent in one solution system and excipients, such as coating or bioadhesives, in the other solution system. Any combination of solution systems is contemplated, such as both systems containing a pharmaceutical agent or both systems containing excipients.

  • Patent number: 6326808
Abstract: A PLD circuit configuration is provided to use less product term lines than a typical PLD to perform an OR operation without using an OR gate. In one embodiment, an inverter is provided between the output of one product term line and the input of an OR gate. The inverter enables the one product term provided to it to provide an OR operation. This is because when two or more elements are ANDed in a product term, inverting the product term creates an OR operation with the elements inverted. With an OR operation provided using a single product term and inverter, less product term lines are needed when performing some operations. In another embodiment, an OR gate output is provided to the first input of a look up table (LUT), while a single product term line is provided to a second input of the LUT. The LUT can be programmably configured to perform a number of Boolean logic functions, such as an OR gate, an XOR gate, etc.

  • Patent number: 5953706
Abstract: A transportation network system and method which integrates communications and data transmission requirements for ground transportation service providers into a single, centrally controlled network. The transportation network of the present invention provides for the seamless distribution of reservations data and other information between ground transportation service providers. Specifically, communications networks, such as the Internet and the World Wide Web, are used as the data distribution backbone between the various service providers. In one embodiment of the present invention, the service providers subscribe to the transportation network in order to be allowed to upload requests to the system, i.e., to other subscribers in distant locations, as well as to be allowed to download requests, i.e., to fulfill service requests issued by other service providers.
