    Abstract: There is provided herein a supra mitral device for mitral/tricuspid valve repair in a subject in need thereof, the device comprising: a main body portion having essentially annular D-shape with an eccentric opening, such that a posterior section of said main body portion is wider than an anterior section of said main body portion, said posterior section of said main body portion configured for coverage and attachment to essentially the whole section of the posterior leaflet of the mitral valve which faces the left atrium on systole, thereby preventing and/or reducing mitral regurgitation, wherein said posterior section of said main body portion is made of a pliable material, adapted to stiffen after implantation of the device.
