  • Publication number: 20240088781
Abstract: A DC-DC converter includes a first capacitor and a second capacitor provided between one of a first conductive path and a second conductive path and a reference conductive path, a first switch and a second switch interposed between a first external power source and the first capacitor and between a second external power source and the second capacitor, and a control unit configured to switch the first switch and the second switch between an ON state and an OFF state, whereby the control unit, in the case of switching from shut-off control in which the first switch and the second switch are kept in the OFF state to energization control in which the first switch and the second switch are kept in the ON state, performs intermittent control in which the first switch and the second switch are intermittently switched to the ON state prior to the energization control.

  • Publication number: 20240079960
Abstract: A voltage conversion device determines a usage duty based on the minimum value of candidates that include a first candidate duty and a second candidate duty if the direction of current flowing through at least one of a first conductive path and a second conductive path is a first current direction. The voltage conversion device determines a usage duty based on the maximum value of candidates that include the first candidate duty and a third candidate duty if the direction of current flowing through at least one of the conductive paths is a second current direction.

  • Patent number: 11881781
Abstract: Provided is a technology that is able to shorten the time required to switch a PWM signal when driving the voltage conversion unit, and that can determine the duty according to a current value and an internal resistance of a power unit. A voltage conversion device has a current detection unit that detects a current value of a conduction path, an internal resistance detection unit that detects an internal resistance of a first power unit, a determination unit that determines a usage duty, and a drive unit that outputs a PWM signal that depends on the usage duty determined by the determination unit as a control signal. The determination unit determines the usage duty, based on the internal resistance detected by the internal resistance detection unit and the current value detected by the current detection unit.

  • Patent number: 11451142
Abstract: An object is to reduce the time it takes to switch PWM signals used to perform drive control of a voltage converter. An inverted PWM signal used to perform drive control of a voltage conversion unit (20) is generated based on a result of comparison between a first voltage value and a first target value, and a second PWM signal used to perform drive control of the voltage conversion unit (20) is generated based on a result of comparison between a second voltage value and a second target value. Then, an AND signal or an OR signal is generated, the AND signal being in an ON state when both of the inverted PWM signal and the second PWM signal are in an ON state, the OR signal being in an ON state when at least one of the inverted PWM signal and the second PWM is in an ON state.
