Abstract: Ways to control distribution and tracking of consumer information are described. Such tracking may be associated with user device (110) presence within a defined region (440). The user device provides at least one user interface (UI) (100) listing a set of information types to be tracked within the defined region. The UI includes a set of controllers (170) that are able to receive a set of user selections regarding distribution and tracking of the information types. The information types include location, identity recognition, and transaction information. Based on the set of user selections, collection and/or tracking of information may be performed (or not) depending on the states of each controller in the set of controllers.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for translating three dimensional movements. An interface is generated to permit configuration of at least one parameter for translating three dimensional movements. Three dimensional movement is detected and translated in accordance with the at least one parameter. A translation of the three dimensional movement is generated with a displayable moving image.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for scoring an image based on visual criteria are described. A method includes computing a local blur map for the image, determining a bounding box in the image comprising a largest sharp region in the image based on the local blur map, scoring the image according to at least one of a ratio of bounding box size to image size, a ratio of the bounding box length to the bounding box height, a relative position of the bounding box in the image. Another method includes selecting an image among a plurality of images by scoring each image of the plurality of images according to the scoring method and selecting an image based on the score. The apparatus includes a memory and processor for performing the any of the selecting or the scoring method.

Abstract: A method for previewing a color graded image commences by first obtaining color metadata corresponding to a sample image appearance selected by a user from among a set of different sample image appearances, each sample image appearance having associated color metadata. The color metadata corresponding to the selected sample image appearance is stored with an image file the user has selected for color grading. The color metadata corresponding to the selected sample image appearance is applied to the image file to generate a preview of the image file, as it would appear when color graded with the color metadata.
