  • Publication number: 20190255684
Abstract: Disclosed is a tool, such as pliers, having reduced spacing between teeth extending into a slot on a handle of the tool. This provides improved adjustability and a larger capacity to hold work pieces. The design, spacing of the adjustment teeth and length of the slot provide more adjustment positions and allow more teeth to be engaged at all positions. In an example, the teeth are spaced at about 0.066 inches and the tool has a maximum jaw opening of about 2.28 inches.
