    Abstract: A facility accesses patient data in an EHR system. The facility includes a server configured to access the EHR system and store applications and a computing device configured to display EHR data, including patient data. The computing device additionally receives user input specifying patient inclusion criteria and an action and uses the user input to create an application while displaying the patient data. The created application can compare patient data displayed by the computing device to the patient inclusion criteria, determine if the patient data displayed by the computing device satisfies the patient inclusion criteria, and cause the computing device to take the action based on the determination of whether the patient data displayed by the computing device satisfies the patient inclusion criteria.
