Abstract: A method and mobile device are presented for centrally controlling backup functionality, so that parties such as backup devices will efficiently be informed how data content should be backed up from or restored to the mobile device. The mobile device exposes to a party rules for backing up or restoring data content, and those rules are not just for the party, but also are for other parties including the mobile device itself. The rules are contained in a list formatted in extensible markup language (XML). If the party is an external party, the mobile device provides an object exchange protocol (OBEX) capability object in response to the party fetching that object. The OBEX capability object describes capabilities of the mobile device, and is for use by the external party in order to access the list of rules via the mobile device exposing those rules to the external party.

Abstract: Cooling element (2) for pyrometallurgical reactors and method of manufacturing the element, wherein at least one cooling channel (1) having two ends is provided first. Each end of the cooling channel (1) has connection means (17) for cooling medium and at least one cooling channel (1) is connected connecting means to a wall of pyrometallurgical reactor. Further, at least one tube having an outer cross section and inner cross section is formed and the tube bent to an open loop to form at least one cooling channel, the ends of which being joinable to the means (3) for connecting the cooling channel (1) to a wall of pyrometallurgical reactor.

Abstract: The invention relates to arranging synchronization of data in an information system comprising at least two separate datasets to be synchronized and a data storage into which data in the datasets to be synchronized is stored and from which the data to be synchronized is delivered to the datasets. The solution comprises determining at least some of the fields of at least one data type as search settings. From a record stored or to be stored in the data storage, at least one character string is determined as a search key on the basis of at least one predetermined search setting, and the search key associated with the record is stored. In response to receiving a search expression corresponding to the search key, the data storage is searched for the data associated with the search key.
