    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide for improved travel pathway generation. In the context of a method, the method includes obtaining travel pathway data defining a sequence of legs, each leg associated with a vehicle station. The method includes generating a required battery level for a vehicle traversing each leg in the sequence based on a current battery status, the travel pathway data, a vehicle station dataset, and a payload dataset. The method includes generating an estimated battery level upon arrival at each vehicle station based on the current battery status, travel pathway data, vehicle station dataset, and payload dataset. The method includes generating, based on the estimated and required battery levels and vehicle station dataset, an indication for each vehicle station representing whether to perform at that vehicle station an adjustment operation. The method further includes rendering a graphical user interface (GUI) comprising the respective indications.

    Abstract: A method and system for generating multiple takeoff and landing computations for an aircraft flight plan has been developed. First, a flight plan for an aircraft is created that includes multiple flight legs with a separate takeoff and landing. Separate takeoff and landing data (TOLD) for each flight leg is calculated and analyzed to determine if takeoff and landing is possible. The pilot of the aircraft is alerted if takeoff or landing is not possible for a flight leg.

    Abstract: An adaptive navigation light system is provided for a rotary wing air vehicle having at least a main body and a plurality of arms, where the main body includes a front end and a tail end disposed opposite the front end, and each arm of the plurality of arms extends from the main body. The adaptive navigation light system includes a plurality of circular light arrays and a processing system. Each circular light array is operable to emit light of a plurality of different colors, and each circular light array includes a plurality of individual light sources. The processing system is configured to track error data to determine which one of the different colors each circular light array should emit, determine which of the individual light sources in each in each circular light array should be energized, and energize the individual light sources that are determined should be energized.

    Abstract: A method and system for identifying a restrictive obstacle for a flight plan of an aircraft has been developed. First, both static obstacle data and temporary obstacle data is retrieved for a runway used during takeoff of the aircraft. The relevant data is identified for clearance of the static obstacles and the temporary obstacles. The distance and elevation of the static obstacles and the temporary obstacles is computed from a departure point of the runway. Next, the clearance data required for the aircraft is computed for each of the static obstacles and the temporary obstacles. The most restrictive obstacle is identified based on the clearance data for each of the static obstacles and the temporary obstacles and displayed to the pilot of the aircraft.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for runway overrun alerts for an aircraft using manually entered parameters for a non-standard runway. The method includes accessing an interface for an enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS). The following parameters are then manually entered: identification of the non-standard runway; a displaced threshold of the non-standard runway; surface conditions of the non-standard runway; a declared length of the non-standard runway; and availability of thrust reversers on the aircraft. The parameters for the aircraft to safely land and stop on the non-standard runway are calculated with the EGPWS. An alert with the EGPWS is generated if the stopping point of the aircraft is near or beyond the end of the non-standard runway.
