  • Publication number: 20230172122
Abstract: A growing media composition includes peat and a biosurfactant produced by only mechanical and biological processes without chemical reaction that would result in any structural alteration to the biosurfactant molecule. The biosurfactant can be a glycolipid such as a rhamnolipid.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 26, 2023
    Publication date: June 8, 2023
    Applicant: AQUATROLS CORPORATION OF AMERICA
Inventors: Arianna Lubomyra Watters, Darryl Ramoutar, Casey Edward McDonald, Lauren M. Atkinson

  • Patent number: 10889680
Abstract: A method of making flexible polyurethane foams mixes a polyol (a hydroxyl group containing compound) with a cesium and/or rubidium fluoride catalyst, and reacts such mixture with at least one isocyanate. The cesium and/or rubidium fluoride may be used as the sole catalyst, replacing the blowing and gelling catalysts, such as amines, and metallic catalysts, such as a tin catalyst. Or, the cesium and/or rubidium fluoride may be used as a catalyst promoter in combination with traditional amine blowing and gelling catalysts and tin catalysts. The resulting flexible polyurethane foams exhibit increased thermal conductivity and lower levels of volatile organic compound emissions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 25, 2019
Date of Patent: January 12, 2021
    Assignee: FXI, Inc.
