Abstract: An orthopedic cradle for aiding in the prevention of hip articulation disorders in infants, comprises, bottom, foot, head and side walls, a post secured at its lower end to the bottom wall at an intermediate location on its central longitudinal axis, and a transverse bar joined at its mid-portion to the upper end of the post and at its opposite ends to the side walls. The post and transverse bar define a pair of sockets for receiving the two legs of the infant to form an angle of 60.degree.-90.degree. with respect to the longitudinal axis of the infant's torso.

Abstract: A disposable diaper for application to an infant in contact with the infant's skin, comprises a liquid absorbent core; a thin, continuous, water soluble film carried by the liquid absorbent core on the side thereof to be applied in contact with the infant's skin; a layer of a medicated powder between the water-soluble film and the liquid absorbent core; a liquid-permeable film between the layer of medicated powder and the absorbent core; and a liquid-impermeable film on the opposite side of the liquid absorbent core.
