Abstract: A valve assembly and a method for use, including a seat with one or a plurality of grooves along a periphery of the seat, the seat comprising a gasket inserted within the one or a plurality of grooves, with a portion of the gasket raised above an external surface of the seat, and a piston, having a first face configured to matchingly cover a portion of the seat and a second face to matchingly cover a portion of the gasket, configured to apply pressure to the gasket to cause expansion of the gasket within the one or a plurality of grooves, forming a tight seal between the gasket and the face of the piston.
