  • Patent number: 11964300
Abstract: A device and process for applying a quick dry rapid set aqueous solution. An indicator of a selected color and composition is added to an accelerator to be applied along with a resin. The tinted color indicator is typically blue and allows the user to determine if the proper mixture is being applied. The indicator is visible only during application and disappears after application. The resin and accelerator are applied using an airless spray mechanism with delivery systems and spray gun. The spray gun has 2 nozzles and the capability to set the angle between the nozzles.

  • Patent number: 8580055
Abstract: Provided herein are mixtures, emulsions and other additives for use in manufacturing gypsum wallboard. The mixtures and emulsions may be wax-based emulsions or wax-free mixtures or emulsions, with wax-based emulsions including water; at least one wax, a dispersant which may include sulfur or a sulfur-containing group, and a particular wetting agent or surfactant. Mixtures may also be prepared including water, a dispersant, and a particular wetting agent or surfactant. Gypsum slurries may be prepared using such emulsions and mixtures.

  • Patent number: 8557909
Abstract: An emulsion composition to coat a substrate that includes a barrier-forming material, water; an organometallic compound, and at least one thickener is described. The composition may further include a material such as talc. Articles, including ductile pipes, coated with this material are also described. A method of increasing the drying rate of a composition applied to a substrate to form a coating that includes application of the emulsion composition and drying the composition to form a coating layer. Also included are methods of forming a coating that exhibits a reduced incidence of blocking or pull-off, comprising applying the emulsion composition to a substrate and drying, whereby the coating layer formed exhibits a reduced incidence of blocking or pull off relative to conventional asphalt emulsion coatings.
