Patent number: 5915302Abstract: To provide a printer ink exchange apparatus which can 1 greatly shorten a wash liquid recovery time, 2 dissolve a dilution by the residual wash liquid in the ink circulation and supply passage so that a lowering of the ink viscosity (density) can be prevented and 3 dissolve a mixing of the ink of the previous order in the ink circulation and supply passage so that the ink for a new order is prevented from becoming turbid, and as a result, can enhance the productivity and the printing quality.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 1997Date of Patent: June 29, 1999Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yasuyuki Baba, Arifumi Okamoto, Kunio Niuchi

Patent number: 5671676Abstract: A flexographic printer in which ink supplied into a nip portion of inking rolls. The inking rolls include a rubber roll and an anilox roll. An inking roll cover is provided around the inking rolls. Clean air is directed into the inking roll cover through a filter, such as by a fan which blows air through an air vent into the inking roll cover so as to form a slightly higher static pressure within the inking roll cover than in the peripheral area. As a result, air is ejected to the outside of the inking roll cover from a gap between the inking roll cover and the printing cylinder. A dynamic pressure caused by the air prevents paper dust, paper scraps or other scattering dust, etc., from coming within the inking roll cover, thereby preventing such from sticking on the outer circumferential face of the rubber roll or the anilox roll, or from mixing with the ink supplied into the nip portion of the rubber roll and the anilox roll.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 1996Date of Patent: September 30, 1997Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yasuyuki Baba, Arifumi Okamoto, Kunio Niuchi

Patent number: 5341713Abstract: In the present invention, complete cutting is carried out by primary and secondary cutting devices without causing the crush, break or crack of a cut portion even in the case of a composite paper sheet such as a thick corrugated cardboard sheet or the like. There is provided a cutting apparatus for corrugated cardboard sheets which cuts and separates a corrugated cardboard sheet along the direction of travel and positioned upstream from a cylinder cutting portion. The cylinder cutting portion performs secondary cutting and consists of a knife cylinder having a knife and an anvil cylinder. The primary cutting device is provided with a cutter knife for performing primary cutting and is fixed to a bracket and is capable of movement and adjustment in the widthwise direction of the sheet. At the opposite side with respect to the corrugated cardboard sheet is provided a sheet guide capable of movement on a guide rod so as to change a relative position (gap) with respect to the cutter knife.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 1993Date of Patent: August 30, 1994Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Arifumi Okamoto, Ikuo Shibayama

Patent number: 5174186Abstract: A rotary die cutter includes a rotatable anvil cylinder; and a knife cylinder made rotatable in a face-to-face relation to and in synchronism with the anvil cylinder and having knives fixed on the cutter circumference thereof for subjecting a sheet running at the central portions of the two cylinders to a predetermined cutting treatment by clamping the same together with the anvil cylinder. A thin film having a tape adhered thereto is attached removably to the outer circumference of the anvil cylinder in registration with the corresponding edges of the knife cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 1991Date of Patent: December 29, 1992Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yasuyuki Baba, Arifumi Okamoto, Hiroshi Morinaga

Patent number: 4678388Abstract: An apparatus for counting and collecting paperboards which counts, by a counting device, at an inlet thereof, the paperboards brought by a conveyor device, heaps them up successively from the bottom thereof by restraining their movement with a stopper disposed on the surface of a conveyor, and transfers them to a further process each time they are collected as many as a predetermined number, characterized in that the stopper is composed of a shaft for rotating itself intermittently in response to a signal from the counting device, a plurality of stopper members which are rockingly disposed around the shaft and which are urged in the rotational direction of the shaft, and torsion springs, disposed on the shaft, for restraining the rocking movement of each stopper member in the vicinity of an upright position thereof, and the shaft stops its intermittent rotation at a working position of each stopper member and at an approximately middle position between a stopper member at said working position and an adjacentType: GrantFiled: August 28, 1986Date of Patent: July 7, 1987Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Arifumi Okamoto

Patent number: 4657236Abstract: A sheet delivery device of the type in which each sheet delivered by a moving suction unit is received and delivered again by feed rolls. The sheet delivery device features a control unit which detects whether or not each sheet is delivered in synchronization with the operation timing of equipment positioned on the downstream side of delivery effected by the feed rolls and sends a signal obtained when no synchronized delivery takes place to a rotation driving unit of the feed rolls to change the revolution speed of the feed rolls thereby to realize the synchronized delivery of each sheet. Oblique delivery of the sheet is corrected by the use of divided, independently rotation controlled pairs of feed rolls.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 1985Date of Patent: April 14, 1987Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tadashi Hirakawa, Arifumi Okamoto

Patent number: 4630812Abstract: The known delivery device for sheet bodies in which sheet bodies stacked at a standby position are successively delivered one by one as kicked by a kicker, is improved in that the delivery device is additionally provided with a suction plate which sucks and conveys each sheet body as moved jointly with the kicker only during the period when the kicker moves for a predetermined distance after it has been started.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1984Date of Patent: December 23, 1986Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tadashi Yano, Arifumi Okamoto
