    Abstract: A method is performed at a control center in a home network. The control center (CC) detects roaming of a user equipment (UE) engaged in a call across different access networks operated by different service providers and that employ different types of radio access technology (RAT) to attach to the UE. The CC identifies the different service providers and the different types of RAT associated with the different access networks. While the UE is roaming, the CC tracks different data usages for the UE on the different access networks. The CC categorizes the different data usages based on the different service providers and the different types of RAT associated with the different access networks. When the call terminates, the CC determines a total cost for data usage on the call based on the different data usages, the different types of RAT, and the different service providers.

    Abstract: A method is performed by a control center that resides in a home network. Upon receiving, from access networks, attach requests from user equipments (UEs) when the UEs attempt to connect to the access networks, the control center computes a baseline attach failure rate for the attach requests. The control center initially sets a billing type for a UE of a subscriber to usage based billing. Upon receiving, from the access networks, attach requests from the UE when the UE attempts to connect to the access networks, the control center computes an individual attach failure rate for fulfilling the attach requests from the UE. The control center determines whether the individual attach failure rate for the UE exceeds the baseline attach failure rate. When the individual attach failure rate exceeds the baseline attach failure rate, the control center automatically switches the billing type for the UE to flat rate billing.

In one example, complex type information corresponding to a logical relational data model that defines an organization of the data asset information is accessed. The logical relational data model includes a parent entity and child entities corresponding to the parent entity. Treating the complex type information produces scrubbed complex type information. The treatment of the complex type information includes, at least, the removal of foreign keys from child entities. The scrubbed complex type information is then translated to produce a hierarchical data model corresponding to the logical relational data model. A schema is then generated for the data asset information based upon the hierarchical data model.
