  • Publication number: 20230052021
Abstract: A presentation device includes a stimulation presentation unit that presents temperature stimulation at a predetermined temperature and a temperature control unit that sets the temperature of the stimulation presentation unit. The stimulation presentation unit has a size that causes a person to feel temperature stimulation when the stimulation presentation unit touches a first portion and the person not to feel the temperature stimulation when the stimulation presentation unit touches a second portion that is less perceptible than the first portion. The temperature control unit sets the temperature of the stimulation presentation unit so that the stimulation presentation unit presents pain due to temperature stimulation when the stimulation presentation unit touches the first portion and does not present the pain due to temperature stimulation even when the stimulation presentation unit touches the second portion.

  • Publication number: 20200402418
Abstract: The number n of times of chewing is counted by chewing number of times calculation means (13b2) based on a change in the distance l from a photorefiector (50), which is received together with time t by measurement value receiving means (13b1). To vary hardness h of a bag (30) to a stage that can be sensed, according to the number n of times of chewing, a required air pressure is set according to the current number n of times, based on a hardness/air pressure correspondence recording unit (13g) in which stages that have a significant difference therebetween and are stored in association with the number n of times of chewing are recorded. To realize the set air pressure inside the bag (30), the amount of sucking performed using a vacuum pump 20 is controlled by air pressure control means (13b4).

  • Patent number: 10338462
Abstract: An aerial image display device is capable of changing a depth of a virtual image viewed by an observer without changing a distance between at least one display device and an optical element forming the virtual image. The aerial image display device includes a display device, optical elements, and a reflecting member. The optical elements are installed corresponding to different display regions of a display surface of the display device and sequentially arranged along the display surface in an observation direction of an observer. The optical element is installed obliquely with an angle of about 45° in a ?X direction when viewed from the display surface of the display device. The optical element is installed obliquely with an angle of about 45° in an X direction when viewed from the display surface of the display device.
