    Abstract: A cassette includes: a tape roll rotatable about an axis extending in a first direction; a tape conveying passage; and first and second guides positioned at the tape conveying passage. The tape roll is a roll of a tape. The tape is conveyed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction along the tape conveying passage. The first guide and the second guide are configured to guide widthwise edges of the tape in the first direction. The first guide has a first end surface and the second guide has a second end surface facing the first end surface in the first direction. The first end surface and the second end surface provide a distance therebetween in the first direction smaller than a widthwise length of the tape in the first direction.
