    Abstract: In an information processing apparatus, a map view is displayed. On the map view, an image which includes a thumbnail image of an image to be incorporated in a content and identification information added to the thumbnail image is applied as a processing section. Thumbnail images of images which are determined as a link source and a link destination by a link setting for image switching when a display area satisfies a link condition are connected to each other by a line. Further, an order of images between which an image is to be successively switched by an image forward feeding operation is defined by an array of thumbnail images in a sequence setting column. Further, the images are coupled using a dotted line or the like so as to represent a preceding-succeeding relationship thereof. A thumbnail image of an image or a line is operated to update a link setting file and a sequence setting file.

    Abstract: When the user enters a request for moving a viewpoint, whether or not a displayed area is encompassed in a link area that is set for an active image is kept monitored. When the displayed area is encompassed, a corresponding link is determined to be valid, and an image of a link destination mapped to the link area is displayed. Whether or not the displayed area moves outside of a link area set for an image of a link origin is further monitored. If even a part of the displayed area moves outside of the link area, a corresponding link is determined to be invalid, and the display is switched back to the image of the link origin. If none of the above-stated conditions applies, the initial image continues to be displayed while moving the displayed area according to the movement of the viewpoint within the active image.

    Abstract: A viewpoint position sets, when a stereoscopic video image is provided that includes a left-eye parallax image and a right-eye parallax image having a predetermined parallax distribution and that is observed from a given viewpoint, a virtual viewpoint for observing a subject from another viewpoint. A parallax image generation unit generates a left-eye and a right-eye parallax image for providing a desired parallax distribution that are obtained when an observation is made from the virtual viewpoint, by shifting the image cut-out position of at least one of the left-eye or the right-eye parallax image. When the shift amount at the image cut-out position changes due to a position change of the virtual viewpoint, the parallax image generation unit generates a parallax image while changing the shift amount in stages from a shift amount obtained before the change to a shift amount obtained after the change.

    Abstract: As a user inputs instruction to start up content, an initial image is displayed. A viewpoint shift request is made, viewpoint coordinates are calculated according to the viewpoint shift request. Then verified is whether a hierarchical level has been changed in hierarchical image data due to a shift of the viewpoint coordinates or not. If the hierarchical level has been changed, the node of a hierarchical image is extracted from image correspondence data and then a coordinate transform matrix associated with the node is modified. A new elemental image is decoded, each image is subjected to the coordinate transform based on the image correspondence data so as to evaluate the coordinates on display coordinates. Each elemental image is placed on the evaluated coordinates, which in turn integrates the elemental images and updates a displayed imaged.

A coordinate converting unit represents the key frame using frame parameters in a coordinate system of a post-switching image. A correction unit corrects the key frame by applying, to the key frame set up, correction that is opposite to the correction applied to a frame when the frame is displayed. A scenario file output unit creates an ultimate scenario file and stores the file in a storage device.
