  • Patent number: 10825057
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods for displaying targeted content on a digital signage board (DSB). The method includes receiving encrypted profile information from each of a plurality of user-computing devices when the plurality of user-computing devices is in a proximity range of the DSB, wherein the DSB is associated with one or more products and/or services. The method further includes aggregating the encrypted profile information received from each of the plurality of user-computing devices to generate an aggregated encrypted profile. Further, the method includes transmitting the aggregated encrypted profile to a content server, wherein the content server decrypts the aggregated encrypted profile to select the targeted content from a content repository associated with the one or more products and/or services, wherein the targeted content is displayed on the DSB.

  • Patent number: 10586715
Abstract: Embodiments describe the selective electroless plating of dielectric layers. According to an embodiment, a dielectric layer is patterned to form one or more patterned surfaces. A seed layer is then selectively formed along the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer. An electroless plating process is used to deposit metal only on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer. According to an embodiment, the dielectric layer is doped with an activator precursor. Laser assisted local activation is performed on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer in order to selectively form a seed layer only on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer by reducing the activator precursor to an oxidation state of zero. According to an additional embodiment, a seed layer is selectively formed on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer with a colloidal or ionic seeding solution.

  • Patent number: 10489824
Abstract: A method and a system are provided for interaction with a digital signage board. An electronic device receives, via a transceiver, a first metadata associated with a first grid displayed on the digital signage board that is configured to display a plurality of multimedia content items in a plurality of first cells of the grid. The electronic device receives, via the transceiver, a second metadata associated with the plurality of multimedia content items. The one or more processors in the electronic device display a second grid comprising a plurality of second cells that are based on the first metadata and the second metadata. The one or more processors in the electronic device further update a property associated with at least one of the plurality of second cells based on a user profile stored in the electronic device and the second metadata.

  • Patent number: 10333909
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for identifying a targeted content item for a user. The method includes receiving one or more encrypted first attributes of the user, and a first key. Thereafter, one or more content items are encrypted using the first key. The one or more content items are stored in a data structure such that the one or more content items are indexed in the data structure according to one or more second attributes of the one or more content items. Thereafter, at least one encrypted content item is retrieved from the data structure based on the one or more encrypted content items, the indexing of the one or more content items, and the one or more encrypted first attributes. The at least one encrypted content item is decrypted to generate the targeted content item.

  • Patent number: 10311480
Abstract: A method and a system for receiving targeted content are disclosed. In an embodiment, in a mobile device at least a first metadata corresponding to a first content displayed on a digital signage board is received, based on a predetermined action performed by the mobile device. The first metadata comprises at least a location of the digital signage board. A second metadata corresponding to one or more product categories associated with one or more products in vicinity of the digital signage board is determined, based on the location of the digital signage board. One or more user preferences are determined based on the first metadata and the second metadata. The targeted content is received on the mobile device based on the one or more user preferences.

  • Publication number: 20180350264
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for providing non-auditory feedback to users related to sensitive information. The method includes receiving one or more characters on a first computing device. Each character is encoded into a braille code, the braille code is represented by a matrix of pre-defined size. For each character, the braille code is divided into a first part and a second part. A first vibration output is provided corresponding to the first part of braille code via the first computing device and a second vibration output is provided corresponding to the second part of the braille code via a second computing device. The combination of the first vibration output and the second vibration output is sensed by a user to recognize each character of the one or more characters.

  • Publication number: 20180218426
Abstract: Methods and devices for privacy preserving recommendation of items based on association rules, each being represented as an antecedent that implies a consequent, are disclosed. The method includes receiving a transaction indicated by a query from a client device, where the transaction includes multiple items. The method further includes identifying association rules applicable to the transaction from a data structure storing a universal association rule set provided the association rules include antecedents that are a subset of the transaction. The association rules are identified based on a predefined criterion implemented using a predetermined rule fetch method. The method also includes determining consequents associated with the identified association rules, where each consequent includes an item, and collating a set of items based on the determined consequents. The method further includes recommending an item list from the collated set to the client device.
