    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to apparatuses for enhanced thermal management of an inductor assembly using functionally-graded thermal vias for heat flow control in the windings of the inductor. In one embodiment, a PCB for an inductor assembly includes a top surface and a bottom surface. Two or more electrically-conductive layers are embedded within the PCB and stacked vertically between the top surface and the bottom surface. The two or more electrically-conductive layers are electrically connected to form an inductor winding. A plurality of thermal vias thermally connects each of the two or more electrically-conductive layers to a cold plate thermally connected to the bottom surface. A number of thermal vias thermally connecting each electrically-conductive layer to the cold plate is directly proportional to a predetermined rate of heat dissipation from the electrically-conductive layer.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a method of performing summarization of text is disclosed. The method may include receiving an input text including a plurality of paragraphs and a user-query including one or more tokens. The method may further include segregating the input text into the plurality of paragraphs, creating a plurality of paragraph-vectors representative of the plurality of paragraphs, and clustering the plurality of paragraph-vectors to generate one or more clusters of paragraph-vectors. The method may further include determining a relevant cluster of paragraph-vectors from the one or more clusters of paragraph-vectors, based on a degree of similarity of each cluster of paragraph-vectors with the user-query. The relevant cluster of paragraph-vectors is representative of a set of relevant paragraphs from the input text. The set of relevant paragraphs corresponding to the relevant cluster of paragraph-vectors may be outputted.

    Abstract: A bidirectional composite converter is provided. The bidirectional composite converter can be used with power electronics, such as but not limited to electric vehicles and other applications. In some implementations, for example, the composite converter may be used in a powertrain of an electric vehicle to couple batteries to a high voltage bus of the vehicle to provide power to the motors and to one or more integrated charging ports (e.g., ac grid wired connections or a wireless charging port) for extremely fast charging. In various implementations, the bidirectional converter architecture may comprise one or more dc transformer modules (DCX's) arranged with output port(s) coupled in series at an output port of the composite converter.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to generating digital bids for providing digital content to remote client devices based on parametric bid distributions generated using a machine learning model (e.g., a mixture density network). For example, in response to identifying a digital bid request in a real-time bidding environment, the disclosed systems can utilize a trained parametric censored machine learning model to generate a parametric bid distribution. To illustrate, the disclosed systems can utilize a parametric censored, mixture density machine learning model to analyze bid request characteristics and generate a parametric, multi-modal distribution reflecting a plurality of parametric means, parametric variances, and combination weights. The disclosed systems can then utilize the parametric, multi-modal distribution to generate digital bids in response to the digital bid request in real-time (e.g., while a client device accesses digital assets corresponding to the bid request).

    Abstract: Provided herein are methods and materials for the manufacture and use of wettability tracks on various substrates for rapid fluid transport and drainage, even in a condensing environment. The degree of wettability of the materials' surfaces range from superhydrophobic to superhydrophilic. The method centers on the formation of a dispersion of titanium dioxide and a fluoroacrylic co-polymer in an alcohol and water solution. The dispersion may then be deposited onto a surface to form a coating, which is then dried to evaporate the alcohol. The dried coating is exposed to radiation to produce a wedge-shaped track. The coating is exposed to the radiation through a photomask to produce the track. The radiation may be high energy, such as UV radiation. The radiation may be selectively exposed to designated areas on the coating. The hydrophilic wedge-shaped track may have a wedge angle of from 0 degrees to 45 degrees.
