  • Publication number: 20070204906
Abstract: A dye-sensitized solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. By maintaining a constant interval between two substrates and controlling the amount and flowability of electrolyte retained between the substrates, superior reproducibility and stable performance can be obtained. On the surface of at least one transparent substrate, a transparent conductive film and a dye-sensitized semiconductor electrode are formed. The two substrates are then stacked with an electrolyte sealed between them. Between the two substrates, a member composed of two or more wire rods and formed in the shape of a mesh is disposed, functioning as an electrode.

  • Publication number: 20070163437
Abstract: A hydrogen permeation membrane that selectively allows the passage of hydrogen and that can be formed in a desired shape is obtained by using a silicon resin that includes at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis-diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. A heat-resistant coating that is resistance to temperature of 300° C. or higher is obtained in a sintering process at temperature of 200° C. to 500° C., thereby providing a hydrogen or helium permeation membrane that has excellent water resistance. Similarly, a hydrogen or helium storage membrane that selectively stores hydrogen and that can be formed in a desired shape can be formed by using a silicon resin that includes at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis-diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. A heat-resistant coating that is resistance to temperature of 300° C. or higher is obtained in a sintering process at temperature of 200° C. to 500° C.

  • Publication number: 20070027031
Abstract: A metal oxide catalyst material which comprises one or more of transition metal elements having a 4d shell electron or a 5d shell electron as an electron bearing the electroconductivity thereof; and a catalyst for treating a combustion exhaust gas comprising the catalyst material. The contact of an exhaust gas with the metal oxide catalyst material allows harmful substances such as nitrogen oxides contained in the following exhaust gases to be decomposed or removed as a whole and simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20060040824
Abstract: A nitrogen oxides-removing material has fixed onto surfaces of metal fibers a complex compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of Group VIII elements, Group IX elements and Group X elements in the periodic table of the elements and at least one element selected from the group consisting of Group I elements, Group II elements, Group XIII elements and Group XIV elements in the periodic table of the elements. A nitrogen oxides-removing device includes the nitrogen oxides-removing material and a means to elevate a temperature of the nitrogen oxides-removing material to than 100° C. or more.
