Abstract: An apparatus is configured to communicate with multiple network components in a service-based architecture and comprises a memory and a processor. The memory stores multiple configuration commands. The processor is configured to generate a request to establish a communication session between a first network component, a second network component, and a third network component. The first network component exchanges connectivity signals with the second network component and the third network component. The second network component performs first plurality of session operations in response to the connectivity signals exchanged with the first network component. The second network component reports to the third network component that the first session operations are performed.

Abstract: An apparatus is communicatively coupled to a plurality of databases in a service-based architecture and comprises a memory and a processor. The memory stores multiple configuration commands. The processor is configured to generate a request to establish a communication session in which a network component accesses a first database and a second database based at least in part upon a configuration command of the configuration commands. The network component exchanges connectivity signals with the first database and the second database. The first database provides database operations in response to the connectivity signals exchanged with the network component. The first database reports to the second database that the database operations are provided. The processor is further configured to, in response to determining that the communication session between the network component and the first database is lost, maintain the communication session to access the second database.

Abstract: A disclosed method may include (i) maintaining a database that maps cellular reference link types to geographic hubs that include a respective cellular network node connected through a respective cellular reference link type, (ii) cycling through the database, within a portion of the database for a specific cellular reference link type, to perform a ping operation from each respective geographic hub mapped to the specific cellular reference link type, and (iii) displaying, through a graphical user interface, results to an administrator indicating which ping operations from the cycling through the database indicated a failure such that the administrator is enabled to perform a remediation operation. Abstract: Various arrangements for performing health monitoring of cellular network functions in a cloud-computing environment are presented. A cloud computing region may be input for analysis. A 5G cellular network core may be implemented on a cloud computing platform. Input of a cellular core function for analysis may also be received. Instantiations of the cellular core function and pods of the cellular core function executed within the cloud computing region can be identified. A customized test query can be performed based on the input of the cellular core function. A status of the cellular core function can be output based on the customized test query.

Abstract: In one exemplary aspect, a smart-oven system includes a recipe module accessing a remote recipe database that comprises one or more recipe instructions, and downloading a downloaded recipe instruction to a local memory of the smart oven. A user-input module receives a user-specified cooking instruction. A cooking module manages one or more oven heating mechanisms in the smart oven according to the downloaded recipe instruction and the user-specified cooking instruction. A personalization module obtains a personalized recipe from a user of the smart oven and uploading the personalized recipe to a remote recipe database. A crowd sourcing module records user entered recipe instructions and automatically calculates cooking time and constitutes both into a complete recipe to be uploaded in the recipe store.
