Publication number: 20260127142Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. A data management system (DMS) may access a snapshot of a target client object to perform a block-order traversal of a set of files included in the snapshot. The DMS may generate an index file for the set of files based on a metadata associated with the snapshot, the index file including a mapping between a file path for each file and one or more properties of each file. The DMS may then read the set of files included in the snapshot using a sliding window in accordance with the mapping between the file path for each file and the one or more properties of each file, and may determine whether to generate an alert based on reading the set of files included in the snapshot.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2025Publication date: May 7, 2026Inventors: Abdullah Reza, Arjun Sinha, lshaan Sang, Guilherme Vale Ferreira Menezes

Patent number: 12613838Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. The described techniques may enable a data management system (DMS) to determine an amount of data to be pulled from a source cluster prior to performing a replication of a source file stored on the source cluster. For example, before copying any data from the source cluster to a target cluster, the DMS may read an index file associated with the source file to determine data blocks that are different from data blocks of a base file stored on the target cluster, which may indicate indices of data blocks of the source file that may be replicated from the source cluster to the target cluster as part of the replication operation. By profiling the data to be copied before copying the data to the target cluster, the DMS may optimize the replication process to reduce latency, among other examples.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2024Date of Patent: April 28, 2026Assignee: Rubrik, Inc.Inventors: Aakanksha Mudgal, Nikhil Verma, Abdullah Reza, Arjun Sinha

Patent number: 12585549Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. A data management system may receive a request to generate backup data for a set of data files from the one or more databases. The data management system may then generate, in response to the request, a file including a set of partitions including respective groups of shard files that correspond to respective groups of data files from among the set of data files. In some examples, a respective group of shard files within a partition of the set of partitions may include a first shard file representative of metadata for the partition and one or more additional shard files representative of the respective group of data files for the partition. The data management system may then distribute the respective groups of shard files to a set of nodes within the distributed backup system.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2023Date of Patent: March 24, 2026Assignee: Rubrik, Inc.Inventors: Deepti Kochar, Abdullah Reza, Prasenjit Sarkar, Prabhu Mohan, Arjun Sinha, Yanzhe Wang

Publication number: 20150367990Abstract: A food container for shipping and displaying food items is provided. The food container is made up of a base container having an upper perimeter portion that is configured to be closed using a label seal. The label seal replaces a lid or cover (either hinged or separate) and enables a significant reduction in the amount of plastics used in food containers of this type. The label seal is adhesively applied to the upper perimeter portion of the based contained and is cut to size to the same perimeter edge of the container. A tamper evident feature can be integrated into the label seal technology disclosed herein.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2015Publication date: December 24, 2015Inventors: Arjun Sinha, Niall E. Kelly

Publication number: 20150083725Abstract: A container having a locking mechanism with integrated tamper evident attribute is provided. In one embodiment, a male portion of geometrically shaped protrusions are provided on the lid or base of the container. A female portion of geometrically shaped openings corresponding to the male portion is provided on the base or lid of the container, respectively. A perforation is provided around the male portion such that once the male portion is locked into the female portion, the only means to open the container is to tear the perforation and cause the male portion to be removed from the lid or base of its origin. The tamper evident feature becomes apparent when the lid is pulled to open the container. The tension created when the lid is lifted in an upward motion will tear the male portion of the perforated lock away from the lid leaving it securely locked into the female base.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2014Publication date: March 26, 2015Inventors: Arjun Sinha, Niall E. Kelly
