  • Patent number: 9893506
Abstract: A damping configuration for an oscillatably mounted, electrical energy transmission device includes a supporting frame which is connected to stationary abutments through a plurality of damping elements. A group of first and second damping elements which have damping rates dimensioned so as to differ from one another and which act in parallel, connect the supporting frame to the abutments. Favorable damping of both weaker and stronger movements, for example caused by an earthquake, is ensured due to a combination of damping elements having differently dimensioned damping rates.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 6, 2013
Date of Patent: February 13, 2018
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Frank Backe, Michael Bartz, Ulf Heinrich, Helmut Holler, Gunther Krausse, Claude Proste, Beat Schmied, Arkadius Peter Szepanski, Joerg Teichmann, Achim Von Seck

  • Patent number: 7106181
Abstract: A method for detecting an object in a door opening of a vehicle. A vehicle reaction is triggered if a received signal deviates from a setpoint value in a sensor system. When the door is closed an updated setpoint value is determined after the vehicle drives off. In order to determine the updated setpoint value, a sensor system which is capable of learning is briefly deactivated, specifically at a time occurring at least the customer-specifically selected time period after the vehicle drives off, if the door was opened while the vehicle was stopped.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 27, 2004
Date of Patent: September 12, 2006
Assignees: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, Fraba Vitector GmbH
