The cradle assembly includes a tablet retention assembly, a locking assembly to secure the tablet within the cradle assembly, a docking assembly for cooperating with the tablet and an optional integrated power supply. The tablet retention assembly includes a slideable plate that moves longitudinally relative to the main cradle assembly body to securely support the tablet.
