  • Patent number: 11260731
Abstract: A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel that partially defines a cavity therein, a door handle assembly, a main reinforcing bracket, a first reinforcing bracket and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket has an upper end fixedly attached to the main reinforcing bracket and to a rearward area of the inner door panel within the cavity below the door handle assembly. The vibration absorbing member has an outboard surface, an inboard surface and a main projection that extends forward from the main body. The main projection is fixed to the first reinforcing bracket such that the main body is rearward of the first reinforcing bracket. • Patent number: 7100618
Abstract: The Sensory Smoking Simulator (5) performs by means of suction to draw smoke (33) from a cigarette (21a), only a small amount of which is smelled by the user (39). It is a main body (40) that includes an air motor (12) and a vacuum pump impellers (29) operating in two separate sections (41 and 42). The lower section (42) has a window (10) to connect with the ambient air and a mouthpiece (15) that yields a bitter taste. Means is provided so that when a person (39) inhales, air is draw into the lower section (42) and through the mouthpiece (15). The upper section chamber (41) has a cigarette receiver (24) and two passageways attached, one of them (35) to exhaust the cigarette smoke to ambient air, the other one (30) to let exhaust a lesser amount of smoke (33s) near the user's nose (31). The smell from cigarette smoke (33s) and the taste secreted from the mouthpiece (15) create a mental effect similar to that of smoking, but far less harmful to a person's health.

  • Patent number: 5588788
Abstract: An improved nail member having first and second heads on a shaft with two ends. One of the ends being defined by the first head and the other end has a pointed termination. A weakened portion is positioned between the second head and the pointed end, substantially closer to the second head. The weakened portion permits a user to readily break off most of the shaft including the pointed end. When the nail member is passed through an opening in an electrical box it keeps it in place while at the same time permits ready detachment of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 5582070
Abstract: A device for mechanically limiting the travel of a moving object along a path parallel to a travel rack bar. The ends of the travel rack bar include narrow extensions that come within a pair of elongated members of a moving rack member that are kept at a cooperative spaced apart relationship with respect to each other. The travel is accomplished through a pinion gear that is meshed with the travel rack and when it reaches the end of the narrow extension it pulls in the spring loaded moving members thereby maintaining the meshed engagement of the pinion gear at all times with either the rack member extension or the moving member.

  • Patent number: 4969269
Abstract: A device for punching cutouts through sheets of drywall or similar wall covering sheets that are typically installed on framing members to which utility boxes are mounted. A cutting assembly is removably mounted over the utility or electrical boxes and the cutting assembly has substantially the same projected contour of these boxes with a puncturing member that cuts through the drywall. A pulling assembly engages with the protruding end of the puncturing member and adapted to pull it, and the cutting assembly to which it is rigidly connected, thereby producing a cutout that substantially follows the contour of the utility box that needs to be exposed through the drywall.
