  • Publication number: 20190176768
Abstract: A system includes a reservoir located in a vehicle. The reservoir is configured to store a substance for eliminating at least one of germs and odors from an interior of the vehicle. The system further includes a dispenser fluidly coupled to the reservoir. The dispenser is configured to dispense the substance into the interior of the vehicle. The system further includes a pump configured to pump the substance from the reservoir to the dispenser. The system further includes a controller configured to detect when an occupant of the vehicle exits the vehicle. In response to detecting the occupant of the vehicle exiting the vehicle, the controller is further configured to activate the pump to dispense the substance from the dispenser into the interior of the vehicle to eliminate at least one of the germs and the odors from the interior of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7221222
Abstract: In the present technique for power management of a power amplifier, an amplifier bank from a plurality of amplifier banks in a power amplifier that has been switched off for a longest period of time is assessed (826) to provide a lowest amplifier bank. With this lowest amplifier bank, an up-threshold that is associated to the lowest amplifier bank is assessed (828), followed by another assessment (820) of a current power output of the power amplifier. It is next determined (830) whether the current power output corresponds at least in a predetermined way to the up-threshold, and if so, the lowest amplifier bank is accordingly switched on (832).

  • Patent number: 7221223
Abstract: In the present technique for power management of a power amplifier, it is first determined (314) whether a counter value corresponds at least in a predetermined way to a counter threshold, and if so, a current status of at least one amplifier bank from a plurality of amplifier banks in a power amplifier is switched (316).

  • Patent number: 6002941
Abstract: In a wireless communication system (100, 200), at least one service building block (605-610 and 622) is used in a service creation environment (301) to create logic program rules (303) that include identification of an authorized service execution environment. The logic program rules, which may require further configuration, are provided to a service execution environment (302) having an identification that matches the identification of the authorized service execution environment. Configurable software modules within the service execution environment are executed in accordance with the logic program rules when at least one predetermined stimulus is detected, thereby providing the service within the system. The service creation environment and the service execution environment may be implemented within a single console or separately implemented within different consoles, or the service creation environment can be embodied within a stand-alone computer (201). In this manner, rapid service creation is provided.

  • Patent number: 5423061
Abstract: In a communication system, an operator station provides dispatch services to communication groups and multi-communication groups. When a request is received by the operator station to provide a particular dispatch service, which requires at least one multi-communication group to be modified, a temporary multi-communication group is created based on the request and predetermined communication system limitations. After the particular dispatch service has been performed for the temporary multi-communication group, the temporary multi-communication group is discarded, returning the temporary multi-communication group to the at least one multi-communication group.

  • Patent number: 5371492
Abstract: In a communication system having a communication resource allocator, a plurality of communication units, a plurality of communication resources, and at least one console, the communication resource allocator is improved to comprise system reconfiguration databases, selection information, execution information, and predetermined event receiving information. The improvement allows the communication system to be automatically reconfigured in response to a predetermined event. The predetermined event is typically initiated by one of the plurality of communication units.
