Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the preparation of an anti-cancer composition from umbilical cord tissue and animal embryonic tissues, the latter preferably obtained from different animal classes. The composition obtainable by the method comprises different embryonic antigens and is used in therapy and prophylaxis of any type of cancer.

Abstract: A portable electronic display device has a relative thin profile and includes a frame with upper and lower covers connected to opposite sides of the frame. The upper cover has openings with outwardly extending peripheral flanges for accommodating the thicknesses of an electronic display and a keypad. The lower cover has a depression that defines a cavity into which a battery or other power source is received for operating electronic circuitry associated with the display. The combination of the peripheral flanges and depression give the appearance of a slim, streamlined display device.

Abstract: An electronic unit for storing and displaying information includes a case, a computer having storage capability for electronically storing information and a processor for generating display signals corresponding to the stored information. A display screen is mounted within the case and connected to the processor for receiving the display signals generated by the processor and for displaying the information. At least one depressible key is mounted within the case, and a battery supplies electrical operating power to the computer. In addition, the unit includes a battery-saving feature for shutting off power to the display screen following a preselected period of time between successive depressions of any of the keys, and the case has a front which measures no more than about 3.5 inches by 2.0 inches and has a thickness which is no more than about 0.039 inches.

Abstract: A method for transferring data from a user station to a portable electronic display device includes providing one or more data sets, linking the data sets together in a predetermined sequence for accessing the data sets, and providing each data set with one or more data frames. Each data frame can be linked to another data frame of a single data set for sequentially displaying information such as images and/or text on a display screen of the portable electronic display device.
