  • Publication number: 20040187321
Abstract: A motor-driven power saw (2) is formed of a housing (4), on which a guide assembly (9) for guiding the power saw (2) on a work piece is removably attached at a tool opening (5) in the region of a device collar (3), whereby the guide assembly (9) has a connecting assembly (10) having two connecting parts (14) and a connecting receptacle assembly (12) is formed on the housing (4), providing a guide for the connecting parts (14) and which can be secured at the connecting parts (14) by means of a form fit with an adjusting assembly (36) relative to the housing (4). The connecting parts (14) are formed rodlike and have a rounded cross-section at least regionally. The connecting parts (14) have a rodlike shape and, at least regionally, have a rounded cross-section.

  • Patent number: 6659473
Abstract: A chuck for a percussion hand-held power tool including a coupling sleeve (3) for receiving a working tool and having two diametrically opposite, slot-shaped, radial openings (4, 4′) in which two locking members (5) radially and axially displace a locking sleeve 6 surrounding the coupling sleeve (3) and the locking members (5), and a spring-biased push-sleeve (8) formlockingly cooperating with the locking members (5), with the locking members (5) being supported against the inner surface (7) of the locking sleeve (6), extending into an interior of the coupling sleeve (3), and having each a radial dimension greater than a thickness of the coupling sleeve wall and a width decreasing toward a chuck axis (A).

  • Patent number: 6460627
Abstract: A drilling and/or chiseling device has a drive spindle (19) for a drilling and/or chiseling tool with two ring gears (17, 18) of different sizes, a countershaft (1) with a drive pinion (15), a wobble drive (7) for a striking mechanism, mounted on the countershaft (1), and a switching sleeve (9), mounted on the countershaft (1) so that it can be shifted axially by a switching element (20). The switching element displaces the switching sleeve (9) into four different modes of operation of the drilling and/or chiseling device.

  • Patent number: 6135461
Abstract: A chuck for drilling and chiseling tools and including a receiving sleeve at least one through-opening formed in a sleeve wall at least one locking member supported for a limited pivotal movement about a pivot axis, which extends substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the receiving sleeve, and projecting at least partially into the through-opening (12) of the sleeve with the locking member (6) extending in its locking position through the through-opening (12) into a receiving sleeve inferior, a guide ring surrounding the receiving sleeve and at least partially overlapping the locking member (6) in its locking position, preventing the locking member (6) from pivoting into its release position and an actuation sleeve (7) displaceable in a direction opposite to an operational direction of the tool against a spring-biasing force for enabling pivoting of the locking member (6) into the release position, with the locking member (6) being pivotally connected with the actuation sleeve (7).

  • Patent number: 5676126
Abstract: A masonry slitting apparatus includes a housing (1) containing a drive unit (2) for a slitting tool (4) and a trolley (3) to which the housing is pivotally connected by a rotary bearing (6) located in a first end region of the housing and trolley. The trolley (3) has a locking rail projecting toward the housing in a second end region with an adjustable depth stop (18) located on the locking rail (17). The housing (1) has a locking pawl (12) cooperating with the locking rail (17) and the pawl is actuated by a locking switch (11) in a handle (9) on the housing (1). The depth stop (18) has a locking arm (28) for securing the housing in a working position.
