  • Publication number: 20060162129
Abstract: The invention relates to a textile machine, in particular to a carding machine, a drawing frame or a combing machine comprising at least two electrical drives (30, 40, 50, 60) whose operating modes are synchronised with respect to a master functionality for actuating the machine elements, in particular the drawing elements for fibre material, measuring elements, transporting elements and/or storing elements. Said machine also comprises at least one measuring device (33, 43, 53, 63, 34, 5, 9, 54) for measuring actual measurand values relating to actuation and/or to fibre material. The inventive carding machine is characterised in that at least one control and/or adjusting unit (19, 131, 141, 151, 161) makes it possible to modify the master function with respect to the actual values.

  • Publication number: 20050034279
Abstract: A textile machine, especially a spinning preparation machine, included a drafting device having several drive disks for driving machine elements, especially drafting device rollers. At least one endless belt surrounds at least two of the drive disks. The belt comprises at least two longitudinal ribs on one side that are received in corresponding longitudinal grooves on the circumference side and running in the circumferential direction of at least one drive disk in contact with the endless belt.

  • Patent number: 6282755
Abstract: In a process for feeding of textile fibers supplied from a point of delivery of a textile machine to a drafting equipment which continues to process the fibers, the fibers supplied from the point of delivery are formed into a fiber sliver. They are then conveyed in the form of the fiber sliver to a drafting equipment which continues to process the fiber sliver, whereby the fibers are conveyed at least in the area before the drafting equipment by a feed mechanism and are introduced by same into the drafting equipment. In a textile machine to carry out the process, the feed mechanism is provided with a conveying channel which is located between the point of delivery and the input area of the drafting equipment and which conveys the fiber sliver. The conveying channel reaches up to the input area of the drafting equipment. The feed mechanism is provided with a drive arrangement for the conveying of the fiber sliver in the conveying channel.

  • Patent number: 6219886
Abstract: A stretched fiber band is deposited in a can, located in the filling station of a can exchanger of a draw frame, by means of a turntable. The rotational axis of the turntable exhibits an equal to or less than distance from the rotational axis of the can exchanger than the distance from the center point of the can found in the filling station to the rotational axis of the exchanger. Upon the substitution of the filled can by an empty can held in a ready-state position, the operation of the can exchanger on the rotation of the turntable is designed in such a manner, that the fiber band is deposited into the full can exiting the filling station, until this can leaves the zone of the turntable. The fiber band is then deposited into the empty can which has been brought into the filling station II, as soon as this empty can reaches the zone of the turntable.

  • Patent number: 6134752
Abstract: A pneumatically energized loading mechanism for a drafting device is proposed for loading the upper rolls of the device. This mechanism possesses pneumatic cylinders which subject the upper rolls to a force, which acts from a holder plate (4) for the securement of the cylinder (2). The support is effected by a stop plate (200), which acts in unison with holder plate (4). The cylinder (2) possesses a guide surface (201) positioning the cylinder on the support (4). The cylinder (2) exhibits a piston with a circular cross-section and is comprised of plastic. The cylinder (2) is affixed to the holder (4) by a securement means (20). By the support of the cylinder (2) on the holder (4), the securement means (20) need accept no force engendered by the piston. The cylinder (2) simultaneously forms a passage for a current bus which serves as the power cutoff of the drafting device when fiber windup difficulties arise.

  • Patent number: 5592808
Abstract: An opener device in an open-end spinning machine includes an opener roller driven by a drive disk and a drive belt. A tension roller is movable between a first position wherein it exerts a driving tension force on the drive belt, and a second position wherein the tension roller exerts a lesser tension on the drive belt so that the drive belt can be removed from the device. A braking device includes a movable actuating element and a braking belt contacting member, such as a bolt, associated with the actuating element so as to be moved thereby. The actuating element and braking belt contacting member are movable between a first position wherein the braking belt contacting member is at a distance from the drive belt and a second position wherein the braking belt contacting member comes into the contact with the drive belt forcing the belt away from the drive disk.

  • Patent number: 4252049
Abstract: In the case of cartridge feed systems for automatic weapons or guns having an endless chain for feeding and storing the cartridges there is provided an outfeed mechanism for outfeeding the cartridges by means of the feed or conveying movement of the chain. In order to be able to store a number of different types of ammunition with such equipment and to be able to infeed such to the weapon or gun, the invention contemplates utilizing an outfeed mechanism wherein it is possible to selectively outfeed cartridges in both feed or conveying directions of the endless chain.
