  • Publication number: 20110139121
Abstract: A fuel injector, which has a valve-seat body with a fixed valve-seat surface, a valve-closure member cooperating with the valve seat for the opening and closing of the valve. The valve-seat body is accommodated in a longitudinal opening of a valve-seat support and fixedly joined thereto. An atomizer front piece is galvanically premolded directly on a lower end face of the valve-seat body in an adhesive manner. At least one spray-discharge orifice is provided in the atomizer front piece, which preferably widens in a funnel shape in the downstream direction. The fuel injector is particularly suitable for use in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines having externally supplied ignition.

  • Publication number: 20080290608
Abstract: The invention relates to a high-pressure connection, such as in a fuel injector, having two sealing faces which bear against one another, and to a method for producing a high-pressure connection of this type. In order to improve the sealing action of a high-pressure connection of this type, at least one of the sealing faces is provided with a partial coating. The partial coating is produced by electroforming.

  • Publication number: 20050133378
Abstract: A method for removing metallic material of a workpiece, using the flow of current between an electrode and the workpiece in the presence of an electrolyte. In this context, a relative movement occurs between the electrode and the workpiece as a function of time. In addition, it is provided that at least one further process parameter be regulated and/or changed as a function of time.

  • Patent number: 6891313
Abstract: A piezoceramic actuator includes a monolithic stack of thin piezoceramic films having internal electrodes arranged between the films, and rail-like elements electrochemically shaped onto the internal electrodes on outer sides of the stack. The internal electrodes can thereby be interconnected, via a suitable conductive element, in electrically conductive fashion at a certain distance from the side edges of the piezoceramic films so that these films form a continuous planar electrically conductive ribbon.

  • Patent number: 6789006
Abstract: Device for detecting a detached tire of a vehicle. This device includes an arrangement for detecting the rotational movements of the wheels and generating first quantities that are dependent on the rotational movements detected. A comparison arrangement is also provided in which at least one comparison involving at least one of the first quantities is carried out, as well as an evaluation arrangement in which a signal is output as a function of the output of the at least one comparison. The at least one comparison carried out in the comparison arrangement is preceded by a sorting operation in which at least two of the first quantities are sorted by value; and a detached tire is detected as a function of the signal output by the evaluation arrangement.

  • Patent number: 6695229
Abstract: A swirl disk is composed of at least one metallic material, and is configured as having at least one intake area and at least one outlet orifice, the at least one outlet orifice being introduced in a lower base layer, and having at least two swirl channels emptying into a swirl chamber, the swirl chamber being provided in a central swirl-producing layer. An upper layer is configured as a cover layer, which over its entire cross-sectional surface represents a closed layer without orifice contours. All the layers of the swirl disk are directly built up on top of each other using electroplating metal deposition (multilayer electroplating). The swirl disk is suitable for a use in a fuel injection valve, in particular in a high-pressure injection valve for directly injecting the fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing, external-ignition internal combustion engine.
