  • Publication number: 20120191303
Abstract: A method for controlling a restraint device for occupants of a vehicle is provided. An environment of the vehicle is captured and a restraint device is triggered depending on object data and vehicle data determined in the environment. An impact probability is determined in stages based on determined object data and/or vehicle data. Depending on the determined strength of impact probability of a respective stage, a restraint device is pre-triggered or triggered, or triggering of restraint device is suppressed and determined triggering information is processed further in a next stage.

  • Patent number: 7152393
Abstract: In an arrangement for reducing exhaust emissions and utilizing the throttling energy of an internal combustion engine, a compressor and a generator are operatively connected to a turbine by which the intake air flow is controlled while transferring the throttling energy recuperated by the turbine to the compressor and the generator and, in the engine start-up phase, the compressor supplies fresh air to an engine air intake duct, the intake air flow volume being controlled by the energy withdrawn from the turbine via the compressor and the generator thus eliminating the need for a throttle valve in the fresh air intake line.

  • Patent number: 6716336
Abstract: A sensor for determining the concentration of sulphur compounds in a liquid includes: a working electrode in contact with the liquid to be analyzed; a referenced electrode insulated from the liquid to be analyzed; a liquid-impermeable membrane located between the working electrode and the reference electrode and permeable to an ion that may form a chemical compound with the sulphur compounds in the liquid to be analyzed; and a reference material in contact with the reference electrode or forms the reference electrode.
