  • Patent number: 9024596
Abstract: A tap changer with semiconductor switching elements for uninterrupted switching between winding taps of a tapped transformer has two load branches connected with the winding taps of the tapped transformer and that each comprise a respective mechanical main contact that in stationary operation conducts current of the respective load branch and produces an electrical connection with a load shunt. Each load branch also has parallel to the respective main contact a series circuit consisting of a further respective mechanical contact as well as a respective semiconductor switch. These semiconductor switches are electrically connected together at a side remote from the respective contacts and lead to a mechanical transfer contact whose other side is connected with the load shunt. A connection of the main contacts as well as the further mechanical contacts is effected by a movable contact support.

  • Publication number: 20120313594
Abstract: The invention relates to a step switch comprising semiconductor switches for uninterrupted switching between tap windings of a step transformer. The switch is a hybrid switch that has fixed mechanical contact fingers and counter-contacts situated on a movable contact carrier. Semiconductor switch units are provided for the actual load switching, said units being actuated in a predetermined switching sequence by the contacts on the contact carrier.

  • Patent number: 7405570
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a battery pole terminal, a measurement element for a battery sensor, and a ground wire in the battery. The measurement element has two connections for connecting to the battery pole terminal and/or the battery cable, such that an electrically-conductive connection exists between the ground wire and the battery pole terminal by means of the measurement element. At least one of the connections is connected to the battery cable or the battery pole terminal by way of a force-locking or interference connection.
