  • Publication number: 20140187685
Abstract: A crosslinkable polymer mixture is provided based on a chlorinated polymer, in particular based on sulfur-free polymer. It can be used for the production of cables and lines via extrusion and subsequent crosslinking, in particular via heat and/or irradiation. A process is provided for the production of cables and lines with such a polymer mixture, which following production via mixing of the ingredients is extruded and crosslinked. A feature of the polymer mixture is that, prior to the extrusion and crosslinking that follow production thereof via mixing, it is stable in storage.

  • Publication number: 20140162062
Abstract: A casing mixture for a line is provided, where the mixture is cross linked, and has as a polymer basis, chlorinated. polyethylene (CPE), chloroprene, in particular each having a chlorine content of 301-40% and a Mooney viscosity of about 80-105 Mooney units (Me) at 121° C. (38.1 mm rotor), or a mixture thereof, optionally with additional adhesion. promoters, and is distinguished by a content of fibers which are distributed in the mixture by a mixing procedure.

  • Publication number: 20130148932
Abstract: A casing mixture for a cable is provided having chloroprene with fillers and additives, particularly processing aids and softeners, as well as a cross-linking system, adhesion promoters, stabilizers, anti-aging agents, optionally coloring agents, which results after cross-linking in cold resistant and cold elastic vulcanizates which are suitable for extra heavy duty applications, for example, according to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 96-09 for moving lines for energy supply.
